Nurse who had contact with Liberian Victim leaves Quarantine, makes contact with 20 in Enugu A nurse who had close contact with a Liberian Ebola patient skipped quarantine in Lagos and went to her home in the eastern city of Enugu, where she made contact with 20 other people, the government said on Wednesday. Information Minister Labaran Maku said the nurse, herself a suspected case, and her 20 contacts were all under surveillance in Enugu. She should be quarantined immediately together with all contacts. As long as she wasnt showing any symptoms of the disease, no need to worry. The disease is only transmitable at later stages of infection, after symptoms have already manifested. So if she had it and didnt show any symptoms, she couldnt have given anyone. 2 Likes |

If she hasn't shown the symptoms and is looks okay without any outward appearance of looking sick then there is no cause for alarm. She should be arrested and quarantined back. |
