Symphony007: Every member of the nigerian federal government deserve a very good slap from every nigerian. How did a PRIMARY ebola contact make her way to enugu? Not SECONDARY o!!! PRIMARY!!! So all these people they claim are quarantined or "under observation" are free to go about their buisness?? Oh...what a shame. And they think this 21 people they have identified are the only contacts? What of the passangers of the bus she took to enugu? I always knew the nigerian govt but too incompetent to handle this scourge. Every man on your own now o!!!

The protocol in Nigeria is to give them thermometers to monitor their body temperatures themselves, and tell them to isolate themselves at home and not to travel or go to work. Nobody suspected of having the disease is actually quarantined. It is only when you report back to them with a fever or other symptoms of ebola that you are isolated and retested for ebola.

How are people who have been quarantined escaping? Why are they not under serious security? I don't understand why the isolation centers are so porous. A very wicked lady. Does she intend to wipeout her own family considering she is a health official and knows how easy it is to transmit this disease?

Its time to desert this country.

How did she escaped from the quarantine facility? Did she test positive or not? How did she get to Enugu? By public car or private? If by public, did she used taxi or molue or private car from her house to the motor park in Lagos? Did she trek or boarded a taxi to her house when she arrived Enugu? A face mask is not enough. The virus is so small it can penetrate the skin. so your best option is to cover your body completely with the appropriate gear.

U miss an essential point,and dat is,how can a woman who was under QUARANTINE,escape all d way to lagos.Her reaching enugu alone,from lagos is scary enuf.But it also implies d possibility dat d govt maynot av bn tellin us all d whole truth as per having either traced all contacts or quarantined all traced.That my friend is a scary thought

she probably used the same equipment she used in treating Patrick sawyer to treat the pregnant woman. The nurse wasn't showing any symptoms so she couldn't have given the pregnant lady directly

No i'm afraid. All the primary contacts with Patrick sawyer were not isolated. They were simply given thermometers and asked to isolate themselves at home. They were told to contact the hospital once they noticed any changes as that's the best way of tackling the disease, early detection. That's the protocol in Nigeria.

She is symptomatic,this happened in Enugu . there is a lot about this woman that is not in public For people to know.The Ebola team in Lagos sent doctors to Enugu because of her about 10 days ago. She was warned not to travel but she did and to attend a wedding of all reason in the world. There is no difference between her and sawyer, Plain wickedness !!!

There are too many misinformation going around. I don't think the nurse will transmit the disease because you have to show the symptoms to be able to transfer the disease. If she is now showing the signs then her contact with the people doesn't matter
