UrbanMystique: they charge 100 naira everytime you withdraw on counter. they do it to encourage people to use atmwhich means banks will create and deploy more atms machines ,because the more atm machine a bank has the more money the bank will make |

ayukdaboss: Our banks may pay for our ATM services but they steal much more secretly or openly. Every month FirstBank charges me about 160naira for SMS charges and some other things I don't even understand yet I don't get any messages at all from them. FirstBank will even charge you for Birthday SMS.. 3 Likes |

look people that don't even understand anything coming here to rant. Is N65 too much as charges in a month? Some Nigerians just like worrying about some inconsequential things. SMH! God forbid Sanusi is bought back. Sanusi have done much harm to the banking sector than any Governor of CBN. 1 Like |

It's a sad news and bad policy from CBN to ordinary man on d street. Currently, we have lots of unexplainable charges/fees reaped off by Nigerian banks which CBN has not addressed. This is adding salt to an injury. #BringBackSanusi does not fitting in here. God has already vindicated SLS long ago before now, if we could recount on 2014 events that have unfolded. And obviously, he won't want to come back. HRH Sanusi, may your reigns be long and confort the people of Kano. #NoToATMFee may be fitted in here. Let's create a thread for it on NL and a tweeter handle also. We need not to be told that our leaders, or better say Rulers are our enemies. I knew it from d onset that CBN can never be better by appointing a Governor from Zenith Bank. It's a bank for d halves of d society. Or what do expect from a product of a bank that couldn't support acct opening for middle class of a society other than d cream of d society only. Let's take up from here. #NoToATMFee #SackEmefiele 2 Likes |

The recent one is that I tried transferring money to a customer I ordered goods from and I got an error message, I was debited and the person didn't get the money since 31st July.I have called First Monie customer Care line several times with a promise of rectifying the problem, I have also visited the bank and submitted the form I was asked to fill, yet my money has not been reversed to my account. E be like sey na to dey save money inside house make sense pass instead queuing to collect your money, being charged to withdraw with their numerous charges.I stopped using my Access Bank account because of their numerous charges.I love GTB. |

anthoniaz: That's Nigerian bank online system for you bros. They are actually online but not real time. The only applicable real time is debit for charges. Where there a hitch, resolution could take a yr. On Access Bank, it's true. I got to discover that your savings acct get depleted even when no transactions occur on it within a consecutive months despite interest credited.to your acct for d period. 1 Like |

The is one problem I have every policy in Nigeria, we are never consistent, we are always taking a step forward and 3 backward and recycling policies. These banks steal from us with impunity, now the new CBN just endorsed more stealing by these banks. Why are the so called educated ones managing different parastatals are so clueless or is it money making thing to be appointed the apex bank governor? The other I heard the new CBN gov ordered that all trapped ATM cards perforated and destroyed so that when you apply for a new one, your bank will charge for re-issuance of a new one. This is hopeless!!! #SanusiComeSaveTheDepositors |

fxskye: It seems like you have been either using Air as your means of Transportation or Water cos all those checkpoints I listed are gonna be there TONIGHT, TOMORROW and EVERY OTHER GADDANM DAY. Did the I.G outlaw Checkpoints?! YES!! Do Checkpoints still exist despite the abolishment decree?! YES!!! Has Checkpoints reduced since the decree?! YES!! But reduction isnt the same as NO MORE CHECKPOINTS.. What Other States apart from Lagos still have checkpoints?! I am sure of Imo State & Anambra State.. I have not been out of the Country Sir, I listed the places where these checkpoints exist, i didnt pull those locations out of thin air. Go to any of these places tonight and if you dont find Checkpoints there, I owe you. Hells, the one on Ajose Adeogun operate even in broad daylight sef. Shoooo!! The people in Abuja can say what they like on T.V, but on the streets, The hussle is very real. #Believe. 1 Like |

TUNFOL: hmmm. is any even better. As a business man I use firstbank and Diamond bank. I also mantain a savings account with GTB-another business killing bank.My brother the hype about Zenith bank is something else i must tell you. I opened a Corporate Account with Zenith Bank last year and later there was need for a USD account from same bank but can you imagine that after submitting inflow and outflow evidences they still didn't open up the account. I have told my account officer who happens to be a family friend that i kept mute all these while because he's involved because if i should take the matter up from the top,his job might be affected. Some of these banks are noise makers & they are just interested in some classes of business men. FCMB keeps bombarding me with calls and e-mails to come open up an account with them but Zenith Bank doesn't send you. Am just considering either Diamond or Stanbic IbTC now |

God forbid Sanusi is bought back. Sanusi have done much harm to the banking sector than any Governor of CBN.It is not N65 per month but N65 per transaction after first three transactions same month. That is, if you have withdrawn 3 times, any other time you do again in the same month you will be charged N65 until another new month when you may have grace of 3 free transactions. So can you see what you calling inconsequential? Beside, most ATm don't dispense more than N20,000 per transaction. 1 Like |
