[quote author=Jakumo]If this story is true then every one of those armed men who broke into an isolation ward will by now be infected, and will die horribly in less than a month.[/quote Is true, the fact is that we should be proud been nigerians. If am to be born a black man again, then i will like to be nigerian. The level of poverty and illiitracy at liberia is alarming, judging from there GPD (not upto $6000) more local government in nigeria have a more vibrant economy. liberia is the second poorest country in africa. |

Well, I am overwhelmed. I don't know what prompted the attack but I am completely disappointed in the government of Liberia. How can you leave an Isolation centre unsecured? An Isolation centre where people with such deadly disease are kept. Nigeria should learn from this, our isolation centres should be secured by armed soldiers. We shouldn't play with this Ebola of a thing. Those gunmen were unreasonable for doing such a thing. God help that country. 2 Likes |

Eneze1:Good point. But i doubt if they were held against their will. Most people voluntarily surrender themselves for treatment so they don't infect family members. So it'd take someome who's completely ignorant of the disease to collude with a family member to break themself out of isolation. 1 Like |

Look very well, they might be CIA, there is no other reason to attack an isolation unit if not to spread the ebola disease. |

vibrio: Those hoodlums probably went there to loot Zmapp or any other vaccines that they erroneously thought were stored in the isolation ward. Na only u just talk sense for here. No conspiracy here at all. I am so sure God forbids ebola spreads in naija. A lot of people will rather their relatives die at home than face the shame of taking them to the hospital and be labelled ebola family.. The daring ones amongst them will form a team and break into ebola centers looking for drugs and all to help their relatives at home. In libera there are still many victims Un accounted for. Where do u think they are hiding. Like someone said they should close our boarders shapeeerly. The chances of a Nigerian surviving ebola is higher than a Liberian being that we have a enough resources and our health care is still relatively good compared to Liberias. You should see pictures of ebola centers in other countries. Na primary schools be their center, some sleeping on the bare floor. Etc.but this phase will pass in jesus name. 3 Likes |
