deeobserver209: It seems like there are forces who are hell bend in making sure Ebola virus spread to as many people as possible across Africa. No plot, old chap....just lack of good preventive health measures....and the fact that health care in Africa is poorly funded and resourced....and we do not have enough healthcare workers....doctors,nurses, pharmacists, et al! And Uganda went from 225 deaths in the 2000 outbreak....to less than 5 deaths in the 2012 outbreak in that country.....by simply isolating infected people, early supportive treatment and carrying the community along.(And right now...there are Ugandan advisors in Liberia....spreading the word.). AND Uganda built a high grade lab at Gulu just for Ebola testing. Ebola can be stopped....it just takes simple measures. As far as am concerned, Ebola is a bio engineered virus developed to further impoverish the continent of Africa just like they practiced in the movie: Resident Evil. Yeah...learning all about science from a sci-fi film......instead of from the experts! 5 Likes |

VivaLaFrans: This is USA at work. These foreign backed armed men wants to make sure Ebola spreads over Africa. Na by force to legalize gay and lesby marriages? Uganda has had six ebola epidemics since 2000. And they went from 200 deaths in the 2000 epidemic....to just 5 deaths in the 2012 epidemic....by simple preventive health measures.(and by carrying the local communities in the affected areas along). And they still did not legalise gay marriage! 3 Likes |

There's a very simple reason armed men attacked an isolation clinic: BECAUSE THEY THOUGHT THE VACCINE/CURE THAT CANADA, US AND OTHER COUNTRIES SENT WAS THERE. And they also want medical supplies. Desperate people resort to desperate measures, sadly. Simples. 1 Like |

Dramadiddy: But wetin carry armed men inside isolation ward of ebola patients... they were sent to eliminate them to stop the spread of the disease... But by who? They went to steal. So if you were armed with a sub machine gun, can't you eliminate 19 out of 29 alone not to talk of when the armed men were more than 2 persons ? Poverty sent them there... |

Hygiene huh? It's logical to blame Africans for their poor living conditions and hygiene than anything else. However, what I want you to note is that Africans have been living in filth for centuries without record of a serious disease outbreak. Check history and you will discover that Africans have better resistance to diseases compared to other races. Now that Africans are living far more hygienic than before in the 21st century, then suddenly we have Ebola! Is that not suspicious? |

They are payed by their slave master. Firstly Sowyer spread his own through diplomatic method, and was curb by Nigeria, though, we are still trying to gain the total contro of the menace. Secondly, these heartless people went out their to allow the detainee to flee. What is wrong with African? God help. |

Africa always had outbreaks of diseases. Yoruba people carved a deity to worship the god of Smallpox (deadlier than ebola) called "sopona", hoping that by worshipping him, he would spare them. I know other tribes had gods to different diseases, and others would chase sick people into the evil forest (I can confirm that happened in Edo and Delta states, in the past, under the Bini Kingdom). FG stopped teaching History in school, so you never knew this. Stop claiming "dirty no dey kill black man", that's the reason we're in this mess now. Because we CHOOSE to be ignorant and are happy in our ignorance. 4 Likes |

However, what I want you to note is that Africans have been living in filth for centuries without any record of serious disease outbreak. Check history and you will discover that Africans have better resistance to diseases than any other race. Man,you don't get it. A bad health care system,....and an underresourced health care system....Ebola just had an easy road in. I'll leave you with this quote....maybe you will get it then.Plus...if you think African cities are hygenic....you better have another think coming! The outbreaks in these countries are bad currently, but for the future, we can look at Uganda as a model. The first outbreak in that country, beginning in 2000, resulted in 425 cases and 224 deaths. The second outbreak in 2008 resulted in 149 cases and 37 deaths. In 2011, they had a single case with no secondary spread. In 2012, 11 cases and 4 deaths. 2012, 6 cases and 3 deaths. It’s probably impossible to stop Ebola from spilling over into the human population, but Uganda has done a great job responding. They are able to do early detection of suspected cases in their biosafety level 4 lab in Gulu. They alert local authorities if something is suspected, then send a task force to assist with containment. They communicate effectively with the public about what they can do, and how effective treatment in hospitals can lower the mortality rate. They work with community leaders when a quarantine needs to be put in place. These things can all be employed in West Africa as well, but it takes time and a lot of commitment to get such networks up and running. We need this cooperation as much as we need PPE and even more than we need “secret serums,” because it is only with prevention of new cases that this epidemic will finally die out. Better read the quoted above....and the article where it is culled from. Perhaps you will understand what I mean. Having problems does not mean one is inferior....it means one has been given a wonderful opportunity to solve such problems. Ebola can be beat....and Uganda has shown us how.! Are we willing to learn? 4 Likes |

From: Udoka Austin Amakor CHEMICAL TERRORISM -Patrick Sawyer was under surveillance in Liberia for Ebola -Liberian govt said he escaped quarantine and sneaked into Nigeria -CCTV footage at Liberian airport showed him avoiding contact with people and at a point lying prostrate on the floor looking like he was in deep pain -His sister with whom he had contact died of Ebola that he was aware of -When he arrived Nigeria he didn't avoid contact with people rather he allowed airport staff to carry him -At the hospital in Lagos he allowed medical personnel to treat him just as they would any normal patient -When asked if he came in contact with an Ebola victim at the point he started showing symptoms his answer was negative -When test confirmed the obvious and he was confronted with the truth, he reacted in a violent manner urinating on the medical staff, at least one of them -Sawyer who was enroute to Calabar was insistent on continuing his journey despite his condition -Liberian govt has apologised to Nigeria for exporting Ebola to Nigeria -Nigerian govt has approached US for the ZMAPP test drug they used on 2 American health workers who contracted the virus in Sierra Leone -Obama said its too early to bring the drug to Africa, that what Africa needs is improved health facilities, yet with all their improved health facilities they chose ZMAPP for their own -A vaccine for Ebola is underway we are told and will be ready latest July next year -The vaccine will 1st be administered in Africa, how generous and selfless they are with the vaccine but not the curative drug -Is somebody thinking at all? -Dont forget Sawyer was a Liberian American with his family resident in America -If people in high places could volunteer themselves as suicide bombers in countries like Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan etc, do you think they can't volunteer for chemical terrorism suicide mission? -The conventional terrorism exported to Africa and heavily funded by them to destabilize our economy and depopulate us seem no longer enough -God is watching but we too have to watch our backs -Should we trust them with their so called vaccine when it comes? -Africa, its time to start thinking, time to start asking questions -We have lived with monkeys, chimpanzees, gorillas, wild animals that have always been part of our delicacies and never had ebola -Why now and why always Africa. HIV/AIDS in Africa 1st likewise ebola? JUST THINKING ALOUD 4 Likes |

Pharmaceutical cabals at work since 1900. They really want to create market viability for ZMAPP. There is serious conspiracy behind this attack. |
Re: Armed Men Attack Monrovia Ebola Clinic, 29 Patients Flee by Redstone(m): 6:53pm On Aug 17, 2014 |
It is possible that the HIV virus is also a conspiracy from the pharmaceutical cabals, if you know how much is being spent to ensure that HIV infected persons get the drugs, you'd be surprised, running into billions of dollars annually. The Ebola virus is not an exception, Africans must be careful and really watchful with these whites who come into the country for research purposes especially medical research. I don't trust them. drealaz24: From: Udoka Austin Amakor |

Eneze1: Why are we Africans this backward? why should armed men break into an isolation ward? why would you flee an isolation ward when there's probability of you infecting someone else? I just tire for this continentMy brother, most of our activities in Africa are devoid of love. If those patients have been well cared for and shown love to, they would not have run into the cold hand of the streets. Our leaders only engage in propaganda that they are taking good care of them. But we know what they can do. 1 Like |
