9. In Saudi Arabia, there is no minimum age for marriage. In 2008, a Saudi court refused an 8-year-old girl, who asked for a divorce from her 58-year-old husband.

Janetozi: Some of the laws are ridiculous like; 9, 19, 23, 35, 37, 39, 46 the one i hate the most is 35: in part of India a man who is in dept can offer up his wife until the dept is paid. What if the creditor use ur wife b4 u pay the money.

This kind of law can't abide in Nigeria o

Hahaha. Use as how?. The woman na collateral. You should be saying, 'am a woman....and proudly an asset'. Crazy law.

I love this laws:
46. (In Samoa it is illegal to forget your wife’s birthday). Ooops, I really love this Law.

42. (In New York City it is illegal to honk your horn. If you do, you’re at risk of paying $350 fine). I call this Sanity Law because the way some motorists honk their horn, especially Lagos Danfo Drivers, could be maddening.

It is illegal in Germany to honk your car horn. You'll never hear a car honk on German roads except if the circumstance is close to death, which almost doesn't happen.

Educative! Those laws have their purposes and some of them are just to curb excesses and to encourage good living; not to really witch hunt. Just as we have taboos in Nigeria. While 11, 23 & 35 are ridiculous, 14 & 15 could attract serious litigation. 53 is okay as every Israeli has basic military education.
