Why Do We Have Only Igbo, Yoruba And Hausa Languages On The Naira? by hungryboy(m): 8:47am On Aug 29, 2014
If you check the lower denominations of the naira(5, 10, 20, 50)
you will notice that the are writings in hausa, igbo and yoruba signifying the denomination of the note,
In Nigeria we have almost 500 tribes and 520 plus languages,
why should the naira only have writings in hausa, yoruba and igbo languages,
Does it mean that we the minorities don't matter or we don't also use the same currency?
Its high time the federal government looks into this,
if there must be nigerian languages signifying the denomination of the naira, it should be all the 520 plus languages we have in this country or no language at all

Because those are the 3 major languages in Nigeria. so we should create over 500 different notes because we want to put all the tribes on the note

All or none at all;the reason we have English as our national language. It'll be a welcome development to have a naira note everyone agrees with.

Op, you're completely right and completely wrong.
In a society like ours, minority like you have their say, while majority have their way. Even in Britain, there are many languages including Scottish and Irish yet, English dominates.

The OP has a valid point! Those minor things, overlooked by aphoristic orthodox mentality, need to be addressed, in order to get rid of bigotry and tribal dogmatism.
