gatiano: Maybe so, no arguments, but why you need change roofs wey no dey leak? na waste of resources be that. quality roofing if it last 200 years is all best. so long it is not causing wahalla. only they should be adviced not to dring rain water falling out from right above it, rusty waters. U have little knowlege on urban and rual planning.. Is it until zinc change color like your boxer you will know that u are supposed to change it Besides all the buildings have to be bulldozed down.. They are too jam packed.. And scanty. 1 Like 1 Share |

Im proud to be a Yoruba. but Yorubas should also contribute more to the nation's building by initiating programs that will improve the lives of ordinary Nigerians, not only adding to the beauty of already developed nation. i do agree with you, but i will stick with management, coating the roofs and maintaining the housing condition as a whole. you are also right about the demonishing of the houses and what not. i got some questions? would you accomodate those that will lose their houses? do you know how much it will take to demolish , then cater for the people? do you know how much it will take to rebuild new housing for those people? do you know that the leaders will begin to kill themselves for the lands that isn't theirs? and again will you give a place in your mansion to house them pending the time they get their houses? you are obviously good with urban and rural planning, but you are bad at human management and resources, and you don't know your government and people at all. it is all clustered up. yes i agree. but will igbo allow yoruba to move into their land enmass, will the hausa or vice versa, will even the egbas allow freely the ibadan or will the ijebus allow, only lagos can, and it is all clustered up as it is. all maybe their is some place in ibadan itself, yes! maybe so, will you farm in the air or in the ibadan river? like i said, you are right, but you need to ask all the right question. what is with my boxers? my wife ensures i change them everyday! i am indeed very lucky. ja si inu omi jo! You better wake up and stop deceiving yourself, the whole world knows we are not one. Different culture, ancestry and way of life. heavenmade: It is a good move but not the best. oseiwe: Peckham is already a yoruba / Nigerian village, even the cops are scared to go there. It is a shame to see how many LIKES that this unreasonable comment is generating from apparent Yorubas themselves: a comment that suggests that the Yorubas are ungovernable. If the build-up of a Yoruba village means a terrifying thing for the Police, what does that say of the Yoruba people? I am neither Yoruba nor Igbo, but I can arguable say that the Yorubas are some of the most tolerant of the Nigerian people 3 Likes |

He's an ibo who wish he was born Yoruba. TUNFOL: Only a fool will beleive that you are Yoruba. If truly you are one, your position gave you out as an omo-ale. You are busy feeding people with wrong info here. So you are so dumbb to know that what you posted is the ancient part of Ibadan? So you are not aware of the modern Ibadan? So yo do not know that certain structures are preserved for historical purposes. Visit any Yoruba Palace and yo will see the very old, acahaic architecture mostly preserved from generation to generation for historical and cultural purpose. Ladgidi ko, Lasgidi ni. So the acient houses in Ajegunle and the likes are not part of your so-called Lasgidi. Ani Oponu ni ee. Mumu. |
