We are in a very difficult in Nigeria. 1000s of innocent Nigerians have been killed for committing no crime since the Boko Haram madness started. The popular opinion is that once we find their sponsors, we will deal with them and revenge all the deaths of our fellow citizens who have died.

That is why when President Jonathan finally invited Rev. Stephen Davis, an Australian who is well known to the Presidency, because he help in negotiated the release of foreign experts who where taken hostages in the creeks of Niger Delta when Jonathan held sway in Bayelsa. He even help determine the fee that was to be paid to these militants and their sponsors, including making sure it was delivered in full.

Now that the details have been trickling in, every Nigerian have expected that the Presidency would have jumped into full action (starting with the suspects that have been mentioned and investigate everything in details). But unfortunately, what we have seen is the Presidency seating on the report, being deaf/dumb on the revelation, sending their mercenaries to write long articles casting doubts on the revelations, send swam of cankerworms to ridicule Stephen Davis and what he had to say, twisting the enormity of the situation. We even have people blogging things totally evil against Stephen Davis, adding what was never said, clamming the man has been bribed by the opposition, etc. We all know that if the President's opponent were named, the noise will be very loud.

Nigerians must speak out and demand that Jonathan should address this matter with all urgency. And we don't want Abati and other stooges talking to us and neither do we want him to organize another stage-managed media chat - Let him get in from of the camera and speak to Nigerians on why till now he has refused to arrest and prosecute his close associates OR is he waiting for a report that will implicate his opponents before he do something about it?

In case you are unaware, he was brought to Nigeria by Jonathan. He represented President Jonathan in meeting and negotiating with Boko Haram leader. He had several face to face meeting with them on behalf of Jonathan and also reported back to him.

we know who they are; mind u
That just confirmed what we all are saying - that Jonathan know Boko Haram Sponsors and instead of prosecuting them, he is dinning and wining with them.

In any way we are heading to Biafra
You are heading nowhere. Even your grand children will not. The last time attempt was made, over 2 million Umu Igbo died. Are you willing to be among the first 100 that will die. Or you just want to start a war, run and hide in your father's backyard?

I agree with you op,Ihejirika and the Aboki should be arrested immediately and every relievant information extracted from them and if found guilty should be killed immediately and the authourity should arrest other pple implicated in this matter and made to pass through the same process.Nobody is above the law in this country.Though am a die hard fan of GEJ and also from the south but in this case tribalism, favourotism, nepotism should be put aside.Godbless Nigeria,Godbless Gej.

If some other politicians have been named by Rev. Davis, many of these Defenders of evil will be up in arms call for arrests, shoot at sight and what have you.

The good thing is that this is a man who was personally invited by Jonathan and from all indication, may still be on his payroll, since the girls are not yet released.

May God help and deliver Nigerians from the claws of Jonathan.

Is he the one empowered to arrest him. Or are you not aware that the Police and the entire Nigerian Armed Forces is under the command of Jonathan? So why is Jonathan not making arrests?

Jonathan has the report for a while now and quickly sacked Ihejirika over some lame excuses and kept very quiet about it. Rev. Davis help them negotiate millions of dollars when their boys were kidnapping foreigners in Niger Delta (he is a very old business partner with men in the Presidency today). His contract with the presidency is still on (the girls are yet to be released).

In case your memory is failing you, the man successfully negotiated the release of all the girls, in exchange for the release of the Wife and Children of Boko Haram suspects that were arrested because their husbands were not found. But at the dieing minute (the day Jonathan landed in Paris), the release was cancelled and Jonathan order the man to pull out of the negotiations.

Finally, will you guys be demanding for evidence if some Jonathan's Opponents were named?

Nothing concerns Buhari in this matter. You are just grieving that the People's General was not found wanting. And am aware you know that Buhari has a good record of terminating terrorist group that was as stubborn as Boko Haram. Chased them out of Nigeria and destroyed all their assets and till today and forever, the group has not raised it heads again. Nobody even want to touch that name with a One-Mile pole.

If the comments coming from some Pro-evil siding youths of Nigeria is a pointer to how degraded the Jonathanian Presidency have become then i am afraid.......

People's no longer bear true allegiance to the constitution and laws of the country but are ever ready to spill blood in defence of EthnoReligious Parapo-ism( Apologies Hon Patrick Obahiagbon)

It started with Thief Stella Oduah and now it is the turn of bigots to defend an alleged Terrorist Ihejirika

My brother, Nigeria of today is very disheartening. In Nigeria under Jonathan, true patriotism to the nation has been reduced to being loyal to Jonathan and his wife.

I pray God will help us overcome this psychological deformation.

Ihejirika was not sacked rather he was retired honourably afte a meritorious service.Prior to his retirement He was the longest serving COAS in decades.he was in act over due for retireemnt as he service was extended after for about 2 years after he was due t retire.

They will never be any exchange of prisoners!!! that will never happen.Kabiru sokoto and his cohorts must pay for their crimes!!! No one would dare to release those muderers in the name of prisoner exchange.Besisdes what is the essence of releasing a suicide bomber to rescure 200 girls and put millions of lives at risk!!! God punish you and your fellow boko haram sponsors for even suggesting that.Mr President was right to reject the stupid offer otherwise it will set off a dangerous precendent wherby Boko haram would simly strike and seize prisoners whenever any of their comanders are arrested

You people have always talked about Buhari being a sponsor, where is the "evidence"??

You guys went wild with excitement when the asswipe Marilyn Ogar made some stewpd statements, where is the evidence she presented?? Or did you guys ask her to present any proof to backup her allegation??

You guys would have reacted entirely differently had Buhari been named a sponsor or if only sheriff had been named. None of you would have questioned the validity of the man's allegation!! You would have called for the immediate arrest and hanging of the General.

Now, just like all that Brief Case Saga, Involvement in Coup saga, and all others, the General has yet been vindicated, and ooooh, we don't expect the Cankerworms and their TAN and PPP minions to accept that!!

But we still insist: #ArrestIhejirikaAndSheriffNow, and #BringBackOurGirls!!!
