Funny enough, majority here not everyone is clamouring to be single, and are in their mid 20s yet don't have time to settle in a relationship.

Sanchez01: For those claiming their reason for being single is because they want to concentrate on one thing or the other have suffered bad relationships than others.
I believe there are two kinds of partners;

1. Those that would help you achieve your goals and even go out of their way to make sure it happens, encourage your dreams and be the perfect person you never imagined them to be.

2. And there are those that will walk into your life and cause you to lose sight of things you have prioritized.

Just like Banega had rightly stated, it is better being single than being with the wrong person, but it is best being with someone who seeks only the best for you than being alone.

But, when you have been with the bad one you tend to lack apathy to pursue a new one and just stick to you single status.

Just dont feel like getting involved with any one yet. and my opinion , a lot of ladies are single by status and not disposition which in turn tends to make them leechy by nature and overly dependent. and then you see some that are too independent. its just crazy.

deesquarediddy: First, growing up was rough. I thank god for my life today but I have a minimum standard I can't compromise when it comes to caring for my wife and kids. Financially, I’ve not reached that level (I thank God still, I’m not poor).

Secondly, I love ladies with brains and I still want her to be very beautiful yet submissive (I’m not the controlling type). Most of the brainy ladies are average looking and just few of the very beautiful ladies have high IQ. I strongly believe I’ll one day find one of those ladies that posses all these qualities (so few).

I’m yet to meet that lady that will keep me interested in the relationship all without sex (Sex shouldn’t be all she’s got to offer). It takes a lot of courage and discipline to dig one hole for life. Beauty fades faster than you think and I’ll want a reason, a bond that will keep me glued to my partner for life.

In conclusion, what I want is a lady with ‘spark’ and independence. When I find one, I’ll put a ring on it.
