Nigerians copying liberians since ebola case took effect. This practice is done in liberia. Back in liberia, when entering any govt or private institution, you are asked to wash your hands before entering the premises. In a day, you could wash your hands 5 times a day. 2 Likes |

Why is Nigeria so retar*ded? Is this nonsense supposed to stop the spread of Ebola virus? lol. No wonder Ebola is ravaging Africa, Ebola only thrives in retar*ded countries. It's very dumb of the bank authorities to think a highly virulent disease like Ebola could be stopped by this primitive setup, two stainless steel cylinders & two bowls loooool, like your trying to wash common dirt off you hands In a sane environment, motion sensor sinks, dispensers & dryers will be installed there, it's worth it.

@ op, stop spreading false info. I bank with access; it is not a "MUST" to wash hands before or after using the banks. Otondo |

datbay: In as much as am not a scientist, this seems so hilarious.Ebola is a viral disease while sanitizer prevents bacteria. So what's the connection?Moreso, when the customers are washing their hands before entering the bank,is it to protect the bank workers or the customers? If an infected person washes his/her hands while entering the bank, does that prevent his/her body contact in the bank from contacting the virus.I THINK WHAT WE NEED IS PRAYER AND SERIOUS PRECAUTIONS. please define precautions in your own words. |

With mushy water on the floor, on that table and everywhere, l am sure more pple might get to contact the virus rather than preventing it, from such measures. |

coolzeal: You just wrote what I wanted to type. You're smart. Chairmen, the way it's done is that, the Bank's cleaner, whose hand is sanitized is readily available to turn on the tap for every customer. While the Electronic door is controlled by the Security Officer, sure his hands are sanitized too. |

RockMaxi: Prevention is only absolute if the water flows by automation to reduce hand contact with the tap. Good point. When I look at the faucet and it doesn't have the lever swivel arm like the ones I have at home I won't touch it. What is the point of washing your hands and then taking back the bugs via a screw tap. Even with my swivel taps at home when I wash my hands I go 'surgeon', using my wrist, elbow or the back of my palm to shut the tap. Another thing I notice is my eyes sting a few minutes after each hand wash showing the anti-septic is on point and also how so easy it is for the virus to get to soft tissue such as the eyes. Fascinating. 1 Like |

I support this. All hands must be on desk to check the spread, in all banks should check temperature at entry point, provide sanitazers to wash hands before entry into their hall. |

How does the precaution come, exactly? At least there are taking steps in preventing the disease, as little as they can. Washing of hands may not kill the virus, but it would sure erase it out of your hands, just like cleaning dust off your hands or removing food particles off your hands. And why would you be having body contacts in the bank, except if the bank is damn crowded, which is rare anyway. But then again, it would involve sweat or some other form of fluid to actually transmit it to someone else 1 Like |

This is very bad and will aid the spread of the ebola virus. If an infected person goes there....Imagine an infected person touching and turning the knob to let out water to wash his/her hand and through that contact, transfers the virus to the knob....now here come someone behind who is not infected, as he/she touches that know, he/she get some dose of it the virus...Yes, some will be washed off into the container below, but not all of them... Moreso, this is virus and not bacteria, the key to not getting infected in this case is to avoid contact by all means...but by creating an object of common contact by the general public, the bank is not helping the situation, they are merely creating a melting pot and breeding ground for ebola. |

The setup looks more unsanitary than it should be 1) Press the nozzle to release water 2) Wash your hand into metal bowl on the floor 3) Grab a tissue and wipe hands The exchange of fluids in this process is dangerous enough to aid the spread of ebola. But then again, I'm no health specialist. |
