A Nigerian air force Alpha Jet with tail number 466 has gone missing from the radar.

Nigerian defense sources said the jet disappeared from the radar around Adamawa state after it went for routine operations on Friday against Islamist militants Boko Haram, who had been on the rampage in the northeastern parts of Nigeria. The jet is the only known functioning jet engaged in operations against the militants.

The Nigerian defense also said it is also looking for two fighter pilots that were operating the jet when it disappeared from the radar. It is not known if militants shot down the jet

Now I think this govt isn't serious at all...

please find it quickly before we hear say book haram don kidnap am.

There are 6 explanations for this;

1) Boko Haram shot down the Jet

2) Either one or both pilots are boko haram members and we did not know or they simply defected to Boko Haram side.

3) The fighter jet might have run out of fuel and crashed.

4) Or Nigeria's radar system is so achaic that it can not detect the Jet fighter

5) May be the pilots flew out of Nigeria for a treat with the Jet hahaha

6) Because Jets are expensive, may be the pilots have decided to sell it because they are not being paid well
