I feel something is wrong with our logic. Sponsors of teorrism shud enjoy protection from terrorist elements. But Sheriff's own is not d case. He's being targeted by d sect. That's why he went to Maiduguri with about 200 soldiers. Am not defending him, but is someone paying more than Sheriff now? Or has d group been hijacked? |

i don't know the story from the start but should he go to maiduguri without soldiers so that boko haram kill him for making the government suspect him? The security is working hard by finding out the mole. |

the difference between was and is has becoming too big for Nigerians and their Journalists. Before steve davis, the boko boys have said the dude stopped patronizing them, he also tried to annihilate them using govt forces after achieving his aim with them. this is the reason for the hatred they have for him. they even promised steve davis that they will drop their arms if he is arrested and prosecuted  if you want to know their sponsors ask El- rufai whom Ihejirika named as one of their commanders without denial from the accused 4 Likes |

Your Question is so daft to say d list. So only boko is likely to target sheriff? If it is alledged that sheriff is a sponsor, won't the so many victims of the insurgency try to vent their anger on him. His enemies are plentiful. And u and I know that the soldiers cannot shield him from boko haram. These guys are too much for the niigerian military. How many local governments they protect from boko? Or perhaps how many local governments did they liberate in over 2months. They have a caliphate in Nigeria and all the soldiers can do is watch! 4 Likes |

Simple. He is both the enemy of BH and the state. BH wants him for using them to achieve his aim and dump them, then killed their leader. Without the soldiers, he may be lynched. |

OP, The REAL questions are: 1. How did Sherriff, an indicted sponsor of terror and escorter of presidents, get 200 armed soldiers who should be battling BH in Bama, to guard him? 2. Who ordered 200 members of our military force to guard an ordinary senator in a time of war ? 3.
