Thousands of Nigerian refugees, who fled to neighbouring Cameroon in 2014 to escape Boko Harm militants, have returned to the liberated northeastern town of Gamboru only to find their homes and their livelihoods destroyed, residents and officials told AFP Friday. Over the past three days more than 15,000 Nigerians have crossed the 300-metre (yard) river bridge that forms the border with Cameroon, following calls by military and local leaders for residents to return, an official in Gamboru said. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2016/01/603622/ 1 Like |

HtwoOw: My brother, the way Lai Mohammed was attacked when he stated that Boko Haram was defeated in December ehn, I even started believing the wailers. Until Baba himself stated that Boko Haram had been technically defeated, I was still in doubt. But with this news, there is no more ambiguity that Boko Haram will remain only in the annals of Nigeria's bitter past. #NeverAgain #Sai Buhari #eDeyPainWailers 160 Likes 16 Shares |

All thanks to God, Buhari and our gallant soldiers. The people should not worry as God will replenish all that was lost. Never again shall we have the kind of incompetent leaders we had. 81 Likes 6 Shares |

The CHANGE of status from refugee back to settler is a huge milestone in the lives of those affected. It is crucial that FG and donor/aid organisations look into means of helping them resttle. It is a battle that must be won of were are not to return to the situation that encouraged the insurgency. cc: Lalasticlala, Mynd44 34 Likes |

Although Boko Haram were forced out of Gamboru 11 months ago,The Zombies will intentionally refuse to read this part, They will channel their sycophantic keypads to praising Daura D. "Emancipate yourselves from gullible mental slavery" 13 Likes |

This is an incredibly biased reporting by AFP. Gamboru liberated by Chadian soldiers, with return orchestrated by Camerounian soldiers?? How convenient to completely ignore the Nigerian army in the report of liberation? And Vanguard news was sheepish to report it as typed by some french loonie. These French poppies must think Nigerians are unintelligent. Give honor to whom it is due. Kudos to the gallant Nigerian armed forces. 12 Likes |
