The most rampant and worst one now is using something like Yoruba's (possessive) when they meant to write Yorubas (plural). Igbo's when they mean more than one Igbo person.

This is very embarrassing when even learned people use it.

Ok. The one i notice is how we interchange it's and its. The first means 'it is' while the other is a possessive pronoun. Some people instead of saying 'married woman' they say 'marriage woman'. And for me, i have issues spelling words having vowels 'I' and 'E' together. Eg, deceive, recieve, concieve. *i'm not sure if i spelt them correctly.

MissMeiya: Ohhh this is one I HATE. Nigerians switch the words "would" and "will".

Example: I will like to visit.
Example: I would be there soon.

Will is indicative. Stating a FACT.
I will be there soon.

Would is subjunctive. Stating thoughts or beliefs, or hypothetical statements.
I would like to visit.

It makes me twitch inwardly whenever I see or hear it.

I must confess this confuses me too.

I love your understanding of 'in haste' and not 'in a haste'. In a hurry is correct though. The problem of 'their and there' is huge and I wonder how people compose outside forums.

People use 'expantiate' instead of expatiate. There is no 'n'.

A pet peeve of mine are those who cannot spell their names properly e.g:

Micheal is wrong. Michael is the right spelling
Isreal is wrong. Israel is the right spelling
Racheal is wrong. Rachael/Rachel is the right spelling

And so on.

I don't expect you to understand! wink

I guess you haven't seen people use work in place of walk, though not intentional.

Sometimes you just wanna pass your point across so fast you don't even bother to proof-read or double check.

The use of "would" as regards Nigerians and "time" in this context is very correct. He believes/thinks he would be there soon. The correctness is in the word "soon".
