Although the man is brilliant, I don't just like him. I never liked him when he was FCT minister either. Anyway, whoever will bring prosperity and developmet in to KD should wear d cap.. Good move. It's time some of these ardent critics test their popularity at the polls. Perhaps he should have started at the senate. But it's ok. lemme just put it to you this way. 1. There's no religious sentiments in this since they're both Muslims which would must likely piss a lot of people in Kaduna South so i don't see them going en mass to vote for Ramalan Yero since he has done nothing for them anyway. 2. He also has done nothing reasonable anywhere else in the state, So he's certainly not gonna get the support of the Hausa people especially since they're eternally loyal to any party Buhari is with evident by the fact that both senators that won in Kaduna NC and Kaduna North are from CPC and one even beat the Ex PDP Governor Ahmed Makarfi for the seat. 1 Like |

His chances are high. He's a bigot so anyone that's not Fulani and voting for him is a very mentally underdeveloped human being but this is Nigeria. I will say that people who are strong federally like el-rufai are always strong locally in the Gov or even LG level. Two different ball games and I don't believe Rufai has any structures on the ground to support him. The Buhari factor is strong, and I'm wondering if tensions between religions will factor is (though they're both Muslim, APC is seen as Islamist whether APC members want to believe it or not) |

But should he win, can he tolerate someone else criticizing him the way he's been criticizing others without ever seeing any good done? El-Rufai's reputation precedes him, and believe me it's awesome, honest Abuja residents during his tenure will testify to the standard his administration set and maintained, Chaos will best describe the the city as soon as he left. El rufi can not win election a good politician does not open his mouth like that, he has criticized every body that matters in Nigerian politics at one point or the other. He should go to the field and see what it takes to win an election, after failing he will learn to respect those that gave him appointment and made him what he is today. |
