I want every passionate Nigerian Nairalander to make a wish here; on what she/he wanted/wish Nigeria was.. Or what sector he wanted maximum improvement in a nutshell... What will you do to make a New Nigeria, If you are the President.

Who knows a Nairalander will still rule a state, a LG, represents his/her state/federal constituency, or even rule the Nation... And this thread may later be useful...

My wish is to see an uninterriuptible power supply in Nigeria.
I have come to understand that power is the most important thing in all sectors of economy in Nigeria even in the family it's important and I believe it will reduce the cost of so many goods.

I wish there would really be a steady power supply. 2- i wish our leaders will be as considerate as Imo's governor, I'm not into politics o, but He is really trying. 3-I wish The Price of Garri reduces back to when a cup was #10 and 1cup Jara. 4- more job opportunities.

Revamping the decaying infrastructure(roads,waterways,health sectors,airports,housing e.t.c)

Jailing corrupt officials.

Retiring old horses who still occupy govt seats.

Paying the pensioners.

Employment by merit.

Making a favourable policy concerning birth control(say three kids for a couple)

*Increase minimum wage to 40k.


*Crash and trash the present education system and replace with a system that makes every individual capable of facing the society immediately after secondary school/college and revive the defunct Teacher's Training College.

*Restructure the Nigerian Police Force and insist on State Police (trust is the only reason its not supported presently) imagine Lapd-Lagos police department, Kapd, Oapd......

*Power Supply- Nuclear is risky, but will take advantage of Gas which is plenty for national consumption for the main time.


*Change the face of the Agriculture Sector to become Lucrative.This would in turn lead to increase in exports and job creation with worthwhile payments. #TeamThoseGroundnutPyramidsMustRevive#


*Pass it into law that every nook and cranny must be lit up with streetlights. Crime is synonymous with dark corners.


*Put an end to the vigilante/olode security system and replace with alert, but friendly. To much harassment/usage of charms on innocents@ night.
