Let's be honest, ladies. We've all gone the route of the almost stalker at some point and chased a guy because we wanted him. I know how it worked out for me. Did you find any success with that approach? I'm going to guess that the answer is no. What we all really want is for him to be the hunter and us to be his prey. It's a magical feeling to know a man wants you so much that he'll do just about anything to gain your affection. If you want him to chase you, it's as simple as learning how to make it happen.

Start with being disinterested in him. Obviously, you can't completely ignore him. Doing this will send a very loud, clear and incorrect message to him that you're not interested at all. You are but you have to show him that very subtly. For instance, if you're the type to call up the guy you want several times a day just to say hi, stop that behavior now. The same can be said if you're initiating all the text messages or emails you two exchange. You have to let him come to you. He doesn't want you to hunt him down.

Be fiercely independent. As much as the movies have led us to believe all men are searching for a damsel in distress type, they're not. Men want to be with strong and very capable women who can take care of themselves. That doesn't mean you should never go to him for advice or guidance. You should. You just need to try and solve the issue yourself first. If he sees that you're someone who can take care of yourself, he'll set out to show you that he can take even better care of you. Men don't want to be with someone who is solely dependent on them. That's very unappealing.

Temper your time with him in the beginning. Even though you may be waiting breathlessly each and every day for him to call and invite you out for the evening, don't let him see that. One of the keys to getting a guy to chase after you is being just out of his reach the majority of the time. You need to be unpredictable. If he doesn't know when he'll see you next, he'll want you more and more. It's all about playing hard to get and if you do it right, he'll fall in love with you.
