That home button issue is a break in the OS. You need to re-install it or perform a factory reset.

I've done that. Once i boot into recovery the E: can't open tmp/recovery.log pop up. When i click the backup it starts and abort when about to begin system backup. The clockworkmod backup that shows in my sdcard contains only boot.img and recovery.img and nothing else.
What can be the problem

I've flash back the non touch cmwr as the carliv recovery still gives the error. However, i really appreciate your support and assistance in solving the problem. More power to your elbow.

But i removed useless apps af1234 market, tecno input etc. So you wont be able to update(ota) so if you like ota updates you should use this rom as a short time solution until someone uploads another untouched stock rom.
