Nice speech. God be with you my president. For this purpose God has raised thee up. For those who abuse our president God will punish you all. "Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves." Carry go.

50calibre:and you are his audience ...nigeria is spoiling because of people like you who can't see a little good in somethings I quite agree with your grievances but what makes me a little bit bitter is the fact that...Every Nigerian thinks that Jonathan created the challenges we are facing today for 54 years this is his first shot on the job. ...Every Nigerian is to be blamed....yes he maybe slow....that isn't the point...The point also is every right thinking Nigerian wants ye very best out of this nation and clowning yourself by mocking the president is unfair because you are mocking nigeria! yes because both you and the president are Nigerians! !!!!....If this country spoils it is my fault and nd yours .....so stop this blame game and improve your little space and In that little space.....nigeria is getting better!!! you can spit your venomous Ignorance later. ....I've spoken my mind....enough of this madness.....let's build stop dividing because nigeria belongs to everyone....and not only the president and his clowns.....oft they are clowns....you are 2 Likes |

Great men and women have spoken of dreams for their countries which have directed the national achievements and growth of these countries. As Nigeria celebrates its 54th year of independence, a question waits for its answer: Do we have a dream for Nigeria? if we do, WHAT IS THE NIGERIAN DREAM? Let's talk about it! at http://metamorphosisexpress.com/ Tweet at us: @MExpressit |

ifaoni: mad idiot.Madness indeed. 30: the question is how much MW have you generated. Just 2000 MW in 5 years according to Namadi in benin is abnormal. When countries are building power plants that have more than 50,000MW in excess of what they need. Each time the government dare mention increments in power status the lower the MW. Sabotage from the government it self. NO 44: he mentioned ongoing dredging of river niger to Baro. Very funny the very week GEJ was sworn in as substantive President that was the week dredging stopped. Go to Lokoja and see the dredging equipment lying fallowed. For more than 4 years. Where are they dredging? NO 52 issues concerning EVD. The respective state governments shouldered all financial responsibility of the incured expenses. All the minister was doing is just wishing out information to the public. The FG promised state government N200m which up till this moment the monies have not reached the coffers of the respective state governments (ie Lagos and Rivers). Very sweet speech but no be today now we yansh day for back. Bross May God help us in this country. |

I wake up every morning with this tiny feeling that Nigeria is getting better. We might not see it, but the changes are there, first on our mindset, yes, we are recognizing it's our country, it has to work, we are the government, we don't wait for them to give us, we take what belongs to us. And our politicians and business persons are beginning to understand, that people are beginning to understand, even though they haven't changed as supposed, they are conscious of the change, soon it will be game over to corruption+-impunity, moral decadence and insecurity. At the end of the day before I retire, I think of one thing I've done to better myself as a citizen of this country first and how to be ready for the change which is imminent (not the APC type though) and then one thing I've done to better this country. Well today, this write-up is the one thing I've done to better this country, even if one person reads this, change is happening. Change is a gradual process, slow but steady, you won't imagine how Nigeria has gotten stronger until you try a terror related behavior or try raising an ebola scare, we've grown in those fields. What doesn't kill us makes us stronger, Rome wasn't built in a day. To Mr. President, You read what Nigeria wants to hear (I know I will be crucified for this), Keep reading what we want to hear, If you don't read what we want to hear, some other person will take over from you and read what we want (This is a logical statement, don't take it at face value). Thanks and I wish you all a happy Independence celebration. |

We hv been hearing this since 1965(5 yrs after indep)... No need to go into more detail. Make una just dey pray for the contry no be to dey give false hope. . . Dwelling on past unrealised promises.. Nigeria is a failed natiOn, d leaders don't hv the youth @ dier hearts.. All they know is corruption, money lundering and looting leaving innocent citizen in a state of poverty, youth in a state off unemployment and the general country in a state of insecurity...... Nigeria is already blessed, all we need is a total overhauling of the entire govt system and all the contributing bodies.
