Since when I was little any Sunday I don't eat rice, that day doesn't feel like a Sunday. Is there any historical backing of Sunday rice eating in Nigeria?

Rice was expensive during the olden days and it was a delicacy for the rich in the society so Sunday being a special day of the week its prepared to mark it.

I have eaten it today. Have you eaten yours? Majority of the people take it at night.

I don't think so. Rice is not the quintessential Nigerian Sunday meal as far as I know.

We are heavily dependent on rice every other day of the week. Hence, I don't believe there is any truth to your suggestion.
