Weah96 Illegal drug is a meaningless phrase. MLK once said that legality doesn't determine what's right or wrong, you simpleton. Let's test your logic - go steal someones car and say you didn't think it was wrong. If that doesn't work - go and kill someone and say the definition of murder is subjective. Here is an easy one - don't pay your taxes and say the government is a thief . Your stupidi.ty annoys me It was once illegal to share water fountains with white people. People went to jail for breaking that law. What has that got to do with drugging yourself to see fairies? My friend, your bible was written by drug users. Deal with it. Hahaha All I have asked you to do is provide proof of your claim. If you insist on been stupid; I can't stop you - you have done a pretty good job with that already |
Re: A Question For The Atheists by alexis(m): 3:58am On Oct 16, 2014 |
Weah96 The proof is the nonsense written in the bible itself, talking snakes, resurrected human beings, and cheap magic tricks. You said they took drugs like you did, all I asked was for proof; some historical evidence that we can refer to that they did. You are running away with your tail between your legs because you can't back up your statement. Imagine, dozens of authors from different times and sometimes thousands of years apart where on "mushrooms" and supported the same hallucination theme? Such explanation is evidence of too much "illegal mush-rooms" . So, all Biblical authors got it wrong and you got it right? Amazing! I don't believe in fairies bro, only your dishonest nature is preventing you from acknowledging what I've repeated here countless times. Really, what beings do you see when you are high on your illegal mushrooms? Remember, you have it posted on online forum the experience when you are hallucinating from the after effects of your "mushrooms" I only wish that your wife comes home pregnant with one of these fatherless virgin children So, a woman can only get pregnant through sex.ual intercourse? |

alexis: Grasping at straws, aren't we? Dude, you're the one who believe that virgins give birth, snakes talk, and dead people wake up after one week of soil treatment. I don't believe in any of those things. Are you mad? You're the fool, for believing that nonsense with a sober brain. Sheep following the shepherd to the slaughter house. Proof? Is the talking SNAKE not enough proof for you, mr. Pinhead? And the virgin mother? Walking on water? Hahaha. A bunch of stoners, talking bout God. God my a)ss. You and your imaginary God can suck a fat one. Re)tard. |

finofaya: the big bang theory is too preposterous to believe. It is upheld by only those who dont want to face up to the fact that there is a God. Thts y an openly ridden theory like this shud still carry so much weight. If the first forms of life were simple and came out of inanimate objects (probabilistically impossible) then since the process is all materialistic, all it would take to create life is simply to recreate the very events of d big bang. Simple. Yet science cant do it! Give scientists, a can off oxygen, hydrogen, carbon dioxide etc. High voltage , a furnace, lightening etc. Will they create an amoeba? No! They'll never create d bases life form. |

Weah96 Grasping at straws, aren't we? Dude, you're the one who believe that virgins give birth, snakes talk, and dead people wake up after one week of soil treatment. I don't believe in any of those things. I am not forcing you to believe Bros, it's your cup of tea if you decide to believe or not. The issue here is your belief is confined to what your 5 senses can observe; I am not faulting you for that. You seem to be agitated for those of us that believe not only in the 5 senses but something more. Are you mad? You're the fool, for believing that nonsense with a sober brain. Sheep following the shepherd to the slaughter house. Is it nonsense to you or to everyone else? Proof? Is the talking SNAKE not enough proof for you, mr. Pinhead? And the virgin mother? Walking on water? Hahaha. I asked you is it impossible for a woman to conceive without sex.ual intercour.se? A bunch of stoners, talking bout God. God my a)ss. You and your imaginary God can suck a fat one. Re)tard. Coming from someone who takes illegal drugs to experience hallucinating or.ga-sm - Pathetic |

asalimpo: the big bang theory is too preposterous to believe. It is upheld by only those who dont want to face up to the fact that there is a God. Thts y an openly ridden theory like this shud still carry so much weight. Do you have a better theory? God is even more preposterous than the big bang. At least the big bang tries to give you an explanation. With God, you have no explanation but for whatever reason that doesn't seem preposterous to you. If the first forms of life were simple and came out of inanimate objects (probabilistically impossible) then since the process is all materialistic, all it would take to create life is simply to recreate the very events of d big bang. The big bang theory deals with how the universe got to its present state, not what caused the universe or how life came about. The scientists haven't created life but its not safe to say that they never will. They are merely testing a hypothesis and they can replace this one with another if that other seems more viable. God is not proven by the failure of a hypothesis. What is your problem with humans creating life, anyway; does it make life any less sacred or does it make God any less powerful? |
Re: A Question For The Atheists by Weah96: 9:25am On Oct 16, 2014 |
alexis: No. However, it's impossible for a woman, a human woman, to conceive without human s)emen being strategically deposited in her fallopian tubes. IVF didn't exist 2000 years ago, and even if it had, we would still need human s)emen, not some imaginary seed. Can a he goat impregnate a chicken? No. Which is more plausible: that the laws of nature were suspended, or someone is telling a LIE? |
Re: A Question For The Atheists by JEITO: 11:32am On Oct 16, 2014 |
finofaya: Science would always look for an explanation for everything and the big bang theory is no diffferent. the big bang theory starts with a claim that "a singularity" started everything which makes that singularity "the beginning" They claim they don't know what that singularity was or why and how it came into being. But am curious to know If you have any idea about what that singularity might be? Also the theory talks about expansion rather than explosion. How did what is expanding comes into being and also I want to believe everything has got an elastic limit, does it mean we will get to a point where this earth will explode having exceeded its elastic limit? |
Re: A Question For The Atheists by Weah96: 12:29pm On Oct 16, 2014 |
JEITO: Very good question/s. But you see, the religious side of the argument always begins with a high level of irrationality. The best that science can do is speculate about the origins of the universe. But at least that speculation is based on testable models that produce the same results during experiments. Religion, however, has brought nothing to the table other than sticking their hands in their ears and babbling. There are other books of myths. No one believes them to be true, except maybe a few loons. Why should the bible, or the Qur'an, be any different? 1 Like |
Re: A Question For The Atheists by davien(m): 12:58pm On Oct 16, 2014 |
JEITO you asked a very good question....the universe will indeed expand till even atoms would never form....although by then entropy would already be at its maximum....and the universe would be a very dark cold place....beautifully at thermal equilibrium |
Re: A Question For The Atheists by finofaya: 12:59pm On Oct 16, 2014 |
JEITO: Science would always look for an explanation for everything and the big bang theory is no diffferent. Lol. Me? I'm also in the dark as to what the singularity might be. Also the theory talks about expansion rather than explosion. How did what is expanding comes into being and also I want to believe everything has got an elastic limit, does it mean we will get to a point where this earth will explode having exceeded its elastic limit? How it came into being is what we are trying to find out. Apparently it is the space that expands, not the bodies in it. The expansion, if it continues, is expected to result in the heat death of the universe. You could check physics websites and articles for all the details. Weah96 No. However, it's impossible for a woman, a human woman, to conceive without human s)emen being strategically deposited in her fallopian tubes. It's impossible by what standard? IVF didn't exist 2000 years ago, and even if it had, we would still need human s)emen, not some imaginary seed. Of course IVF didn't exist then, I am not denying that. Your defense is confined only to what you know Bros. We are going back to the same issue here? You are confined to your 5 senses; I am not. For example, a persons soul can't be measured by the 5 senses but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. The possibility of a virgin getting pregnant is impossible for someone limited by their 5 senses; you fit into that category. Can a he goat impregnate a chicken? No. You are the evolutionist; tell me. I am guessing by your theory; we all came from a fish or a tadpole. Which is more plausible: that the laws of nature were suspended, or someone is telling a LIE? This is where we defer. I believe God is supreme and can suspend the laws of nature because He created them. I believe it's plausible it was a LIE if the witness was from only one person - however; you have multiple people from different times; that didn't know one another confirming the same story - now, that's not plausible. Why would all the Biblical authors that lived in different times and ages decide to all LIE about the same subject? Most importantly, why would people that were killed for their faith LIE? Martyrs don't make good liars. Also, do you only believe in things that your 5 senses can perceive? |

alexis: First of all, the original Hebrew manuscript which was translated into the old testament says absolutely NOTHING about a virgin giving birth to anyone. The Christian scriptures were doctored in order to validate the gospels. Are you saying it's possible for a woman to conceive without the presence of sem)en from a man? |
Re: A Question For The Atheists by MacCantStopMe: 3:25am On Oct 17, 2014 |
alexis: Is it me or do you just have nothing to say? he-goats impregnating chickens because of evolution |
Re: A Question For The Atheists by Weah96: 4:22am On Oct 17, 2014 |
MacCantStopMe: It's easier for a he goat to impregnate a chicken than for a woman to conceive without the juice of a man. Hahaha. That girl is lying. |
Re: A Question For The Atheists by alexis(m): 5:27am On Oct 17, 2014 |
MacCantStopMe Is it me or do you just have nothing to say? Are you daft or do you have comprehension problem? The poster suggested that virgin birth is equivalent to a he-goat impregnating chickens. I mocked the idea and said only such ideas are based on evolution - after all; evolution states that we all came from a single cell organism and we are all related to a single cell i.e. humans coming from fishes. Abeg, open your eye and read well |
Re: A Question For The Atheists by alexis(m): 5:31am On Oct 17, 2014 |
Weah96 First of all, the original Hebrew manuscript which was translated into the old testament says absolutely NOTHING about a virgin giving birth to anyone. The Christian scriptures were doctored in order to validate the gospels. Okay, have you read the entire Hebrew manuscripts that the old testament was reconstructed from? Also, can you refer me to the original Hebrew manuscript you are suggesting for us to cross reference. Are you saying it's possible for a woman to conceive without the presence of sem)en from a man? I promise to answer this question if you can honor me by answering the question I posed earlier - Do you believe that you have a soul or spirit? |
Re: A Question For The Atheists by MacCantStopMe: 5:59am On Oct 17, 2014 |
alexis: That is the point; your mockery made no sense...it started with a misunderstanding of evolution |
Re: A Question For The Atheists by alexis(m): 6:36am On Oct 17, 2014 |
MacCantStopMe: Oh really - what is evolution stance on how humans came about - where did we come from? |
Re: A Question For The Atheists by MacCantStopMe: 7:37am On Oct 17, 2014 |
alexis: Evolution starts from the first life. All creatures have common ancestry. However, the speciation between a hegoat and a chicken is so far apart that reproduction between them is an impossibility; common ancestry is far different from reproduction |
Re: A Question For The Atheists by alexis(m): 7:58am On Oct 17, 2014 |
MacCantStopMe: Can you take us back to the first life and what gave rise to it and from the first life how we have different species i.e. he-goat; chickens, humans etc. |

alexis: I'm referring to Jewish scriptures, collectively referred to as the Torah. There is nothing in them about a virgin giving birth. Define soul or spirit. |
Re: A Question For The Atheists by alexis(m): 7:18pm On Oct 17, 2014 |
Weah96 I'm referring to Jewish scriptures, collectively referred to as the Torah. There is nothing in them about a virgin giving birth. You referred to the early Hebrew manuscripts, basically the scrolls that were used to compile the Torah. Since you mentioned the manuscripts and/or Torah in this case, can you refer to the specific one you are referring to? I want to avoid any ambiguity regarding the text you mentioned. So, is there a copy of this Hebrew manuscript that I can refer to for me to provide a response or is there a specific part of the Torah that supports your claim Define soul or spirit. An entity which is regarded as being the immortal or spiritual part of the person and, though having no physical or material reality, is credited with the functions of thinking and willing, and hence determining all behavior. |

MacCantStopMe I am not here to cure you of your ignorance on evolution....go and read All the more reason you should have shut-up instead of talking about "single life" concept you can't backup. All I did was ask you a simple question and you are here trying to play pretend and avoid the question |

Re: A Question For The Atheists by Weah96: 3:41am On Oct 18, 2014 |
alexis: I just told you that the original Hebrew scriptures say nothing about any virgin giving birth. What exactly do you want me to show you? Where did the bible get that idea? Not only does a virgin give birth in the bible, but there was a corresponding prophecy in the old testament about it. In response to your question about souls and spirits, I believe neither is real. Consciousness, though, is another thing, although there is no indication that it survives death or is immortal. |
