Maybe you haven't realise, it doesn't take much to please Nigerians. All one needs to do is to pave some few roads and do some few construction work and Nigerians will shout your name to high heavens. NOI have been accurate in all their previous predictions. I urge the opposition to study it and re-strategies.

The only surprise I can deduce from the poll is the north east rating. 79% wow! That's almost incredible!! But then when you factor in the fact that north east comprise of states like Taraba, Adamawa, Gombe and Bauchi all strong pdp states it gives you an idea of what's going on here. NOI poll has been the most consistent and most reliable polling organisation in the country. They have accurately predicted the 2011 general election, the Anambra, Ondo, Ekiti and Osun elections.

these NE states knows very well that if they should vote for APC they will be handed over to BH to rule them. So they are sticking with GEJ for their freedom.

Rikidony:
Lagos - About a quarter of the local adult population approves
President Goodluck Jonathan’s job performance in the past one
month.

This is according to findings of latest governance poll results
released by NOIPolls for the month of September 2014, which
establish monthly trend analysis reveal the current result
represents the highest rating in the 21-month period that the
think-tank commenced its monthly governance polls.

According to NOIPolls, monthly job approval ratings are
typically affected/influenced by key events that may have
occurred during the month of review; key events in September
include successes recorded by the Nigerian military over Boko
Haram insurgents and the effective response of the government
with respect to the Ebola Virus Disease.

A total of 74 percent of adult Nigerians approved of Jonathan’s
performance while on the other hand, 14 percent of the
respondents disapproved as 12 percent were neutral as they
neither approved nor disapproved.

An assessment of the President’s performance on key elements
of his transformation agenda revealed that he achieved a very
good rating (4) in Agriculture & Food Security for the first time
since January 2014.

More findings reveal that 52 percent of adult Nigerians
surveyed reported that power supply to their households had
improved within the last one month.
Conversely, 35 percent of the respondents were of the view that
power supply to their households had remained bad and/or it
had gone worse while 13 percent claimed their power supply
had neither improved nor worsened over the past one month.

Analyzing the President’s performance rating by geo-political
zones revealed that the South-East zone had the largest portion
of respondents who approved of the President’s job
performance with 89 percent. This is followed by the North-East
zone with 79 percent and the South-West zone has 77 percent.
In addition, there are variances by gender; more female (77
percent) than male respondents (69 percent) approved of the
President’s job performance in September 2014.

The opinion poll was conducted in the week of September 27.
It involved telephone interviews of a random nationwide
sample.

A total of 1 000 randomly selected phone-owning Nigerians
aged 18 years and above, representing the six geopolitical
zones in the country were interviewed.

“With a sample of this size, we can say with 95 percent
confidence that the results obtained are statistically precise -
within a range of ± 3 percent,” NOIPolls stated.

Actually, the NOI polls have been remarkably prescient as far as predicting elections in Nigeria. Their predictions about the Ekiti polls went against what I believed should be the case (given Fayose's antecedents) but again it proved very accurate.

I will advise Apeeshit strategists (it's doubtful they have any) to study these polls rather than living in denial.
They were also precise in Osun polls..

I can't remember seeing the Osun polls you're talking about. Actually, none exists, at least from NOI. This is their website. http://noi-polls.com. They may be named after Ngozi but she hasn't been involved with the organization for over 6 years now (read up on them from Wikipedia). They also have a technical alliance with Gallup which should tell you something about their standards.

What has happened to you? NOI polls is not known to come up with wrong poll results, the margin may be in contention. Read the report on NOI polls for Osun elections. Ekiti election was not different, even when your party APC abused the group and insulted the woman to high heavens in both occasions, the result still help up. There is really something about APC that changes people...for the worse.

Incumbent Osun State governor, Rauf Aregbesola, is predicted to be returned by as much as 65 per cent of vote counts in Saturday’s gubernatorial election in the state, a poll on voter preference conducted by Upward BAO Consulting, a management consultancy research firm based in Lagos, with associate consultants across Nigerian and UK universities and research institutions has revealed.

The firm said it used survey data to predict voting patterns in Osun in the run-up to the election.

The state-wide opinion poll carried out between Sunday, July 27 and Saturday, August 2, 2014, and in 12 of the most populous cities and towns in the state, also revealed that Iyiola Omisore, candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), would most likely get 17 percent of the votes, while Fatai Akinbade, candidate of the Labour Party (LP), would get 10 percent.

According to the poll, the percentage of Osun residents who planned to vote for ‘others’ or remained undecided was eight percent.

“Methodologically, the poll was carried out in the 12 cities and towns, given the fact that Osun is a highly urbanised state with high population density concentrated in the cities and towns. The poll areas include Osogbo (with 110, 670 voters), Ile-Ife (mostly East and Central with 95,471 and 81, 430 voters respectively), Ilesha (East and West with 54, 746 and 52, 286 votes) and Ikire (53, 487 votes). Others are Ila-Orangun, Ede, Ikirun, Gbongan, Iwo, Ipetumodu Okuku and Modakeke. The 12 cities and towns cut across the three senatorial districts in Osun State,” it stated.
The poll, which also sought to know the respondents’ views on level of performance of the incumbent administration in the state, disclosed that “81percent of the respondents approved that the incumbent governor has performed creditably”, citing the school free feeding programme, farmers’ welfare, O-YES, road networks, and security of lives and property, as indicators of performance. A minority of 19percent believe otherwise.

“Yet, several of those who said they would vote for PDP or Labour said that the APC candidate was a better performer than his predecessors,” the poll revealed.

On the possible voter turnout, the survey shows that “a large voter turn-out is expected, as 88percent of the respondents said they would vote and around same percentage said they had permanent voters’ cards”.

Based on the data collected, collated, coded and analysed, none of the other major candidates is said to have a chance of getting any appreciable number of votes.

Aregbesola is also shown by the survey to be very popular among the indigines and voters of Osun.

“If the election is free and fair, it is postulated that Aregbesola will get a second term, since the overwhelming majority of the electorate want him as a result of performance,” the poll further shows.

“The predictive value of the polling exercise for the forthcoming gubernatorial election is very high. With revelations from across the big cities and towns, having the highest percentage of the voters, conclusions from data analysis show clearly that all things being equal, the incumbent Governor Rauf Aregbesola of the All Progressives Congress (APC) will win decisively, to be distantly followed by Iyiola Omisore of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and Fatai Akinbade of the Labour Party (LP) in that order. Several of the other candidates were not known to the people,” it maintained.
