Three lecturers at
the Bayero University, Kano
and two other persons have
sued President Goodluck
Jonathan, the National
Assembly, CAN president and four others at the Federal
High Court in Kano over the
recent attempt to smuggle
$9.5m to South Africa to
purchase weapons. In a 25-page suit, Dr. Sa’idu
Ahmad Dukawa, Dr. Salisu
Shehu, Isa Ibrahim Garba,
Kamilu Hassan Kwatawa and
Umar Jibrin Gwandu want
President Jonathan, who is the first defendant, to
explain whether his claim of
the authorisation of the
transaction in question in
violation of extant domestic
and international laws amounts to a breach of his
oath and abuse of power. The plaintiffs want the
president to make full and
honest disclosure of every
material information
connected with the money,
whether it really belongs to the federal government and
identify the two other
persons arrested in
connection with the said
transaction. They also want Jonathan to
explain why despite having 10
official planes he decided to
use a private jet belonging to
Pastor Ayodele Oritsejafor,
and why he opted for an illegal route of purchasing
the weapons and explain
reasons for ferrying cash
instead of using modern
method of financial
transactions.

Certified Boko haram lecturers, thought boko haram hated "Western education"? These lecturers are in the wrong place staying in their campuses, they should be camping at Sambisa instead.

Should Christian lecturers also sue Buhari for supporting and funding Boko haram?
