It has been said countless times that the way and manner in which you carry yourself matters a lot,there are some families that cannot be caught at the slightest chance having a conversation in pidgin,you always hear them speak queens english,they are sometimes perceived as intelligent folks by the society,my fellow nairalanders what language do you speak most times?nairaland parents who have their offspring still growing,do u endeavour that ur kids always speak english?

I speak my mother tongue at home, but speak English to teach my kids homework.

English and Benin language..with grandma and pa Benin language,with my parents and siblings English all the way but sometimes I run commentary in Benin with my mum....we no dey run pidgin at home pops man always threatened us not to speak pidgin.only do pidgin with friends and naira land.

English language which I am sick of at the moment.

I missed pidgin English too much. I have to pay just to speak igbo to my folks.
