Disclaimer: I am neither an APC nor PDP supporter, I am just a freelancer journalist.

Update: 3 People Reportedly rushed to hospital.

Just in from a colleague , APC members are rioting in Osogbo, Osun State with some gunshots heard. Our source reported that Nigerian Police Force officers are moving in to control the situation. The cause of the riot is not certain at the moment but it's believed to be caused by the upcoming primaries election within the party.

Will give updates as the event unfolds here...

Hey dude.. It is very very unfair to attach hooliganism to any particular party in Nigeria. They all engage in it. U are very biased and filled with sentiments.

Neither APC nor PDP care for the betterment of Nigerians. They are all the same except for nomenclature. Ur likes are always eager to start the blame game

As if hooligans are not found everywhere or are not the consequence of poor leadership of over a decade by the ruling party.
The goons who accompanied Fayose to disrupt a court proceeding were angels, abi?

This is certainly the disadvantage of having multiple political parties in a state. Have you ever heard of any riot in South East or South South?? .. I never hear of any but since APC entered Rivers State, many have been killed there cos of politics. This is why I prefer this endorsement of a thing. If everyone comes and choses someone for the people, I tell you there is nothing anybody can do to make the people not to vote for the person if they trust their party. You can ask Anambra people.. It will certainly reduce political fear to the bearest minimum and you as an opposing politician will have no other thing to do than to keep quiet as the people don't want you.... My opinion
