otokx: Do you know the cost component of importing every needed times including beams, irons for a road as massive as the ones been constructed in Nigeria and the riverine areas of it called Niger delta. And the fact that if you need those equipment in record time it will cost more than placing orders for their manufacture. Do they pay compensation to villagers, youth, and have security issues of having a battalion stationed in their construction camps. Think domestically.... There are peculiarities |

This is one of the greatest news in the month of independence . I know some people have started making quotes to the calabar- itu highway . For their correction , this road is quite different, and have not had its name on any FG budget since the rebirth of democracy . Only those ignorant of that environment will criticize the amount . Hinted , the length of bridging across water might equals 40-45 % of the project . Goodus to GEJ . God bles nigeria . |

Themandator: There are peculiarities yes but if out of the 165 billion only 65 billion can take care of every then the 100 billion over is simply corruption and that is what is destroying Nigeria, excessive greed. |

Jonathan and FG are fighting against the survival of our businesses in Abia State. When are they going to repair the federal roads leading to Umuahia and Aba? The same applies to Akwa Ibom and Imo federal roads as well. We are a trading and manufacturing state and rely on people from neighbouring states to sustain our businesses. The bad road sections are not up to 80km in total; so is Jonathan saying that our votes are not worth up to 80km of road repairs? When is Jonathan going to rein in Sambo and Emeka Offor and allow Bart Nnaji to supply Aba with reliable electricity, having invested billions of dollars? Geometric power station has been lying idle since completion in 2013 because Jonathan is allowing another person to reap where he did not sow. The multi billion dollar further investment in Aba by General Electrics and Geometrics has been put on hold due to the incompetence, insincerity and unreliability of the FG. We in Abia state have not gained anything from the FG and if things remain the same until December, I shall use my own resources to make sure that he loses a significant portion of votes in Abia (at least Aba and Umuahia) and Owerri. As business owners who have invested millions; there is only so much we can take, especially when we can hold someone to account. |
