QMark:
l thought toll collection was past tense in Nigeria history. Either within or at borders.

Even if the road is made of gold, is our tax not enough to take care of it. Must Nigerians again directly pay for the road you used our money to construct?

But nna...which tax are you talking about?? The one ONLY civil servants pay, or the one that costs so little even generating states can't run on it solely

Good development, also put immigration officers and infections detection kits on the post.

They should have adequate communications with army formations or patrol units in the border areas.

Check and control is very important on our entry and exit points, its better people are delayed if a disaster is avoided.

Good way to earn revenue too...thin FG,think and make this Nation prosperous, don't be polluted with too much wine and pleasures.

Citizens must only see what benefits them and fight for this and leave politricks for politicians, except you are a politician, your statement is quiite unreasonable.

Only politicians and their cronies benefit from politics-we must not politicis issues of National importance,as security and health.

What is this guy saying? I have no answer for you. When you get to work on Monday, ask your head of finance how much your company pays as VAT every month. Except you work for a Chinese company. They know how to evade taxes.

I've always paid toll fees crossing seme broder to Benin republic for over 20 years. It's currently N100, sometimes they charge N200 per person to stamp you in or out of Nigeria. It's a shame to learn Nigeria government is not aware money is being paid for ages!.

As long as it's border tolls no problem. I don't want to hear interstate tollgate tolls.undecided
Re: FG To Begin Collection Of Toll At Border Posts by Dinocarex(m): 8:56pm On Oct 26, 2014
I ve long argued that toll gates payment should be brought back. Initially, it was cancelled cus of the massive corruption in that agency.
After construction of roads, maintaining of the road is as much paramount as well. The money realised from tolls should be used in maintaining such roads (FG roads alone).
