The police prsecutor said the accused had accused his wife, Salifat, of infidelity when she returned home at 9.00 p.m. on October 3. “An argument had ensued between the man and his deceased wife which resulted in a fight. Salahu picked up a pestle and slammed it on his wife’s head, causing her fatal injuries. He, then, proceeded to dump his deceased wife’s lifeless body at the riverside.
