I think the national leadership of the PDP and the Presidency are favourably disposed to Ekweremadu returning to the Senate. Chime is just an arrogant and greedy man. Ekweremadu originally wanted to contest for governorship, but Chime blocked him off and annointed his stooge instead. At the same time Chime wants to replace Ekeremadu in the Senate. Haba. You can't have your cake and eat it na. Either you allow Ekweremadu become the next governor or you allow him retain his seat in the Senate. It's a simple choice na.

Many rural towns in Enugu state that have been virtually forgotten by Chime over this 7 years have been given a fresh breath of life thanks to Ekweremadu's innovative programs.
In my town, I was reliable told that the governor's agents physically stopped one of the development projects last year.
Why would a governor who had been unable to provide rural electricity send out tugs to stop workers installing poles and wires for electricity?
Chime has not only brutalized his wife or wives, his deputy, and other citizens, but he has held rural Enugu communities backwards for too long. He should be in jail, not in the Nigerian senate!

And now, the grand design to finally humiliate Chime has been hatched.

The NWC came clear and decided against Chime's position that his appointed new chairman should not take office, rather that the deputy chairman (an in law to Ekweremmadu) should hold the saddle as Acting state chairman and that he should organise an election of SEC to elect a new chairman.

Two major salvoes against Chime:
1) the party delegate election is around the corner and will be concluded before any hope of Chime getting his man in. If you know that the ward delegate election decides the primaries (head to toe, all position), it is game over for Chime, even his anointed 'consensus' Ugwuanyi

2)if you check composition of a. proper PDP SEC, the membership include all former members of SECOND including his arch enemy Chimaroke and his Ebeano PDP structure. In real count, chime will be outnumbered.

We are keeping a watchful eye.
