*Over Hundreds of members of the "All Progressives Congress" (APC),
defected on Tuesday,
October 28, to the Peoples Democratic
Party (PDP)*

AHEAD of the 2015 general elections, hundreds
of opposition from the All Progressives
Congress (APC), had on Tuesday, defected
to the ruling Peoples Democratic Party
(PDP) in
Abia State.
The defectors numbering 800
converged at the PDP secretariat in
Umuahia and denounced their
membership forthwith, as they
consequently burnt membership cards,
party flags and pledged loyalty to the
ruling party.

That same day, thousands of members of the
APC in Ikbopa Okha Local Government Area of
Edo state also dumped their party for the PDP.
They pledged to massively vote for the PDP in
the forthcoming 2015 general election,
More details coming up

. ..

Rubbish news. They defected on tuesday and you and your imaginary mind are just making it known today. Moreover, I don't think we have such number of APC members in Abia state.

Its too early to start a fruitless and sourceless thread

the news will b a welcome development to the pdp supporters n a setback to the apc... but it's something that should be expected though at a promiscuous democracy in Nigeria

but for sure I see more defection coming up in the coming months from the opposition to the ruling party ahead of the general election coming up nxt yr

APC broke PDP ribs after the Speaker, House of Representative defected - PDP thugs are now consoling themselves with flimsy, sourceless, fake news. Nigerians are Free to align to any political party they want. All we ask is that PDP should stop crying about it.
