1 Ghana Cedis = 10,000 Ghana Cedis (before the re-denomination)

So Therefore

52 Naira = 10,000 Ghana Cedis..

You are right ;that is the Mathematics.

Even though i have always had rift with ghanaians here on nairaland, what ghana is facing at the moment is not what i will even wish my worst enemy. may God have mercy on their sins against nigeria and nigerians, by laughing at us during our boko haram plights and remove his anger from them. God has truely shown he loves nigeria by using ghana as an example...

Hahaha! Ghana. But sometimes you do think Nigeria is ur mate. You tend to flex muscle whenever Nigeria does and beats hand on your chest whenever Nigeria tends to be passing through their challenge. Well, now you know its not easy. If Ghana should face the type of challenges Nigeria has been facing, then Naira will be a dollar to them. With Nigeria's numerous challenges, we are still classified as the best in Africa, imagine a Nigeria with little or no challenges. Well make u guys take it jeje

The values don't explain all. You need to consider the purchasing value of the money.
compare with the Japanese yen to see what I mean
1 Gha Cedi =35 Jap Yen

Still that does not mean Ghana is better than Japan

The reason the previous president Atta-Mills was poisoned is becoming clear.

Mahama is a CIA stooge.

He has been installed to do the type of destruction job on Ghana that Thief Obasanjo was installed to do (and did) on Nigeria after Abacha was poisoned.

RIP Ghana ! cry

Do you know that Ghana Cedi is bigger in face value than China and Japan currencies? Ghana's desperation to make their currency, West Africa's number one and possibly adoption as proposed Ecowas single currency. When they were about doing the redecimation of their currency , I reminded them that Argentina has done that severally without any headway.

Sorry but I have to say that u are st.upid for this statement

This information means absolutely NOTHING except to titillate the senses of those who are naive on economic issues.
FYI =>

$1 = 113 Japanese Yen
$1 = 165 NGN
$1 = 3 Ghanaian Cedi

Can someone explain this

1 GHC = 10,000 cedis

therefore: 1 usd = 10000 x 3.238
= 32,380 cedis

while 1 usd = 160 naira

Now you can see why Naira and Cedi cannot be compared and explains why the entire West Africa wants Naira as a single currency.

BBC:

Nigeria beats Somalia to become the only country in Africa with Polio
The World Health Organisation has identified
Nigeria as the country with the highest figure of
poliomyelitis cases in the world.
The World Health Organisation Country
Representative in Nigeria, Dr. David Okello,
disclosed this in Lagos on Saturday, at the
installation ceremony of the new District
Governor of Rotary International District 9110,
Dr. Kamoru Omotosho, for 2012-2013.
Okello, who noted that Nigeria was ranked
alongside two other countries, Pakistan and
Afghanistan, which are still grappling with the
problem.
According to him, “Indeed Nigeria is now the
largest contributor of global polio burden -nearly
60 per cent. Nigeria is also the only country in
the world to have all three types of polio virus —
Type 1, Type 3, and circulating vaccine-derived
Type 2 viruses."

He explained that the transmission of the
disease in Nigeria poses a real threat to the
global polio eradication effort.
Giving further statistics, he stated that of the 49
cases reported in the country currently, “two-
thirds are from four particular sanctuaries — the
northern states of Borno, Kano, Sokoto and
Zamfara.”
He, however, commended the concerted efforts
of Rotarians worldwide at eradicating the
disease as well as committing their expertise
and resources to improving the welfare of
communities.

Product of a failed education system, brainstorming on what? Your overbloated GDP is dependent on oil, there is no economic genius in that your polio infested dump! Very soon, y'all will drink your oil.

The US for the first time
failed to import a single barrel of crude oil from
Nigeria in July 2014. This troubling scenario,
according to industry watchers, would not augur
well for the Nigerian economy, which is highly
dependent on revenue from oil. Nigeria, Africa’s
biggest crude exporter, depends largely on crude
proceeds to service over 85% of its budget.
