I am just curious about the fuel pump price as the oil price is going down internationally and FG want us to prepare for austerity. when the price go up we pay more and now is coming down we were asked to tighting our belt. when do masses actually enjoy the benefits of the oil.

As long as the price of refined product is more than 97 naira/ litre in the global market, FG continues to pay but definitely less than when crude was over $90/ barrel.

A little bit of education. ... Subsidy does not end at import price. Have we asked why petrol sells at 97naira in Sokoto, maiduguri and same across the country despite the significant transportation cost incurred from depot....... Transport cost is also borne by FG under the subsidy funds. So there is more to subsidy than cost at dock.

Yes we have to tighten our belts cos we loose more in declining sales revenue from crude than we gain from saving subsidy funds...... by a very wide margin.
