Can Sickle Cell Be Considered As Abiku In The Days Of Our Fore Fathers. by sexymoma(f): 2:50pm On Nov 26, 2014
I read someone's story in this forum concerning her fiance been the same genotype with hers...
And i was like in this days of our fore fathers, where civilization hasn't taken over.. They get married to any spouse of their choice.
Now could it be that Sickle cell hasn't been in existence then or those abiku(s) are the ones that should be considered as sickle cell.

I have thesame thought some times ago. But not too sure since there is no evidence to back it up.

i guessed as much. Just wanted to be clear. Thanks a lot.

@op, well that's pretty much obvious . Many diseases and ailments that were attributed to evil spirits and curses just so happened because we were in the dark about them. Although Many tribes in Nigeria still have some sort of spiritual beliefs about genetic or even non genetic illnesses. Sad really. We will get there someday
