I just sent an email to my Congressman about the huge student loan burden on recent grads. I suggested that he sponsor a bill to make student loans dischargeable in bankruptcy court, and also write off, say, 50% of the loan if the prospective recipient does some work at a non-profit org.

I hope he or someone on his staff gets to read it
