It's about twenty five days to Christmas and predictably most Nigerian families are stocking up on food stuff, especially Rice. For as long as we can remember, Rice has been not just a staple food but a festive food. Rice is the preferred (and expected) meal to be served to guests at parties, special occasions and on festive days. Now here's the question: let's say we all wake up one day to discover that Rice has vanished from the face of the earth, which meal would/should take Rice's unique place, and why?
