The Minority Whip of the House of Representatives, Hon. Samson Osagie has clinched the All Progressive Congress (APC) ticket for Edo South Senatorial district.



Patrick Obahiagbon
In the primary election, which took place at Ogbe Stadium, Benin City, Hon. Osagie polled 1120 voted, Hon. Patrick Obahiagbon, who is currently the Chief of Staff to Governor Adams Oshiomhole scored 894 votes, Hon. Jim Adun, another member of the House of Representatives got 162 votes while Osa Emokpae gots 28 votes. 8 votes were voided.
