If only Olofofogal could see us now as we walked arm in arm across the busy Adeniran Ogunsanya Street in Surulere, Lagos. It was a blazing hot day and I told her to stay in a nearby shade whilst we waited for a cab. I held her by her right hand as we crossed the street to the Big Treat.

We left the fashionable Collectibles to the Dsalon Down Town on Bode Thomas where she spent over two hours on her hairstyle. I left her there to visit Alhaja H.O. Shitta nearby to discuss the state of the nation and on the emergence of Senator Barack Obama and the new era of American Democracy. Alhaja was my former boss and I have known her since she worked as a Program Specialist for the USAID at the US Embassy in the 1980s in Lagos. I later worked as her IEC program officer for education on population, AIDS and Drug Abuse until I left to register my own company. I told Alhaja about L's fashion, modeling and beauty magazine and later introduced L to Alhaja.
It was a romantic evening and we ended up at a restaurant before I left for my residence.

"Let us go to Dubai together," she had said.
I did not have plans to go to Dubai with any female companion, because I am going there to work for only three months.
The only one I would have loved to take along to the UAE is my Sweetest who deserves the best things in life and the only one I am in love with and God knows I can never be tired of loving her.

We spoke on the phone last week before we decied to meet at the Finicky restaurant at Kilo Bus stop in Surulere where she offered me a drink and doughnut. I admired her as she went to get me the food. She was looking good and her tight blue denim pants made her booty a delight to sight from where I was sitting pretty and looking at her. Her super brilliant younger sister E later joined us and we chatted as if we never even had any bitter misunderstanding months ago whilst I was on Bonny Island. We discussed her latest projects and my interest in the new Supple magazine. She gave me the latest edition of her glossy magazine and I was impressed by the comprehensive features. Her feature on the Area Boys and street children in Lagos deserves an award. I was so impressed that I sent her commentary to my namesake who is the Chairman of the leading Nigerian GSM company. She would be an ideal role model for the Nigerian Dream as epitomized by the glowing brand of the telecom company. We hugged before I left that night.
It was a beautiful way to reconcile with L anyway.
The bitches of hate can kiss my butt.
Life goes on.

What matters most in life is to live in peace and the only golden key for peace is LOVE.
Finis.

Na wa o.

Can I say my own too?

We were trying to cross the busy okokomaiko road but he was half conscious and couldn't hear me speaking to him. He was busy staring at the huge bosoms of the girl crossing the road, in the opposite direction. Damn! She was fine and I was pissed. Here I was trying to tell my partner that we didn't have enough money for the bus fare to Egbeda and he might have to "lap" me but he was busy staring at this lady's boobs. Next thing I hear is "GBAGA!", He had been hit by an unknowing okada on full speed. My partner's dropped jaw went even lower in astonishing pain. His leg had peeled off on the okada's silencer.

2 days later, I was feeding him amala and gbegiri on the cranky hospital bed.

Oh what a reconciliation! cheesy tongue
