GMB? Why?? by pweshex(m): 6:07am On Dec 15, 2014
On June 28 2007, Vice President Goodluck Jonathan placed his
life on the line, by travelling to Okerenko, visiting the notorious
Camp five, where he held a seven hours meeting with all the
leaders of the militant camps in the Niger Delta. He made the
trip without a single security detail. The whole world stood still.
For seven hours he was incommunicado. Global leaders feared
the worst. He emerged from the creeks later, shaken but
resolute. He came out of those creeks with a commitment from
the militants and the Niger Delta disarmament program was
borne. Normalcy returned in the region. The bloodletting ceased.
Oil production tripled and the government could breath again.

in 2012, the leadership of Jama’atul Ahlis Sunnah Lidda’awati Wal
Jihad aka Boko Haram named General Buhari as the number
one mediator they will listen to for peace to reign in the north
east. The spokesman of the group, Abu Mohammed Ibn
Abdulazeez, who doubles as the Second-in-Comma nd (Amir) to
their leader, Imam Abubakar Shekau, made the group’s intention
known in a tele-conference with journalists in Maiduguri. General
Buhari declined the offer.
If Buhari truly loves this country, he would have taken that offer.
But NO. That would have been a victory for the Jonathan
government . So he declined the offer, rather promising to end
the insurgency when he becomes President. Does this man
deserve our vote? I don't think so. If we have to elect you as
President before you assist the government in quelling an
insurrection in your region, who will help us quell the crises if it
erupts in other region. Be wise. Stick with facts. A vote for
Buhari is a cowering to the dictates of terror. A vote for Buhari is
a submission to hand over your mandate by the dictates of guns
and blood. Vote President Jonathan . We will surely win the war
against terror and secure our future. God bless Nigeria

What change are people talking about with GMB,The whole
thing is becoming annoying. How can a man who ruled us in
the 1980s be the one to take us into the 2020s?. Are we
going forward or backward? The bush family have between
these years had their father and son rule as president,we are
here calling a 72 years old man 'change'. By the time he is
through he would be 80 years old.

All these propaganda won't stop me from voting GMB. Nobody forced me to vote for GEJ during the last election, but its rather unfortunate that he never represented the ideals of true leadership. I stand for integrity and not religion or ethnicity.

You all were already calling him the sponsor. If he had gone and failed or came back to tell you all the demands of BH (including wanting Sharia in their community), you would all still use it against him.

Is Buhari the only Northerner? Is Sambo (VP) not a Northerner?

Buhari for President. One day of Buhari is better than another four years of cluelessness.

None of them

None of them

Exactly! Both of them are badnews
Both on a scale, Nigeria is better off with Jonathan
Buhari can't be trusted, he had his term in the 80s, he achieved nothing
He let his vice become a tyrant and tried implementing shari'a across Nigeria
Buhari is bad news for a diverse country like Nigeria, he is an ethnic and religious bigot, and no assurance of achieving what GEJ hasn't achieved
is it not buhari's people that are killing each other? What has he done to end killings in his region?

Pls this man is badnews.
