Following his nomination for the Democracy Heroes award as Most Outstanding Lawmaker, Senator Smart Adeyemi was recently presented with the award by the newly crowned Face Of Democracy Nigeria Queen at his Office at the National Assembly complex. With to present the prestigious award are Queen Kame Face Of Democracy Niger Delta, Queen Deborah Face of Democracy Northern Nigeria. Also around was Project director Mr Fajag alongside Vivian Lam, Alex Nwankwo, Mr Harry P. and Williams

Adeyemi who could not receive his award on the coronation and award night due to the expected PDP primaries for lawmakers, though he thanked the organisers for finding him worthy of the award. He further congratulated the winners and pledged his support to the brand and the pet project of the queens
