NIGERIA I DESIRED FOR MY CHILDREN.
Permit me to inscribe what sort of Nigeria I desired foe my
progeny because I was born during and grew in Nigeria that I
did not pray for my generations to grow under...
A Nigeria where we forgo values inorder to embrace
mediocrazies... A Nigeria where having electricity for two hours
is 'an act of God'... A Nigeria where portable drinkable water is
never available as if all our waterworks of old is dry... A Nigeria
where education is for the rich 'cos all our so called free
education is a ruse (in oyo state, if you admitted to a
secondary school, you must bring your chair or else you will not
sit if luck is not your lot )... A Nigeria where 'stealing is not
corruption'... A Nigeria where kettle of APC is calling pot of
PDP black... A Nigeria governed by men who got drunk early
morning with power and money... A Nigeria where the rich are
astronomically getting richer and the poor are getting seemily
poorer every second... A Nigeria where insurgency is the order
of the day while our leaders are politicizing the matter... A
Nigeria where we 'know God but denied HIs power thereof'
cos we fanatically religious (religious kills)..;Our roads are
deathtraps, our hospital ill-equipped, our airports not
secure,OUR EDUCATION READS FAILURE, our economy
reflected poverty... These and many more is the Nigeria I was
breed courtesy of my 'fathers' but I DON'T WANT THIS KIND
OF NIGERIA FOR MY CHILDREN.
The Nigeria I desire for ny is a Nigeria where Muslims will know
that this country belongs to all and Christians will be
participatory to governance... A Nigeria where human rights
are respected... A Nigeria where pipe borne water, education,
electricity, motorable roads etc is a right and not privileges... A
Nigeria of equitable distribution of resources... A Nigeria
where security of lives and properties of citizens are concern
of the leaders... A Nigeria where youths are gracefully
employed... A Nigeria free of insurgency will be history... A
Nigeria where the buharis of north, amaechis of south and
obasanjos of west will see something good in Jonathans of
east... . A Nigeria with no corruption... A Nigeria rid of religious
fanatics... This is the Nigeria that I want to bequate to my
children
But WHO CAN GIVE ME THIS KIND OF NIGERIA FOR MY
CHILDREN?
