I started a chat with my bf with the word "I",he didnt reply,den i sent the same letter again and he was so angry,i could deduce that from his reply.

My question:What is wrong with starting a chat with "I",cos itz almost thesame with "howdy".

It's a kinda rude for someone you're intimate with.

Makes no difference to me. It's more of a habbit and has nothing to do with chatting with many people. Even if you were chatting with just him you will still use abbreviations
