Everything should not be more than 25-30k.
The headlamp assembly is the most expensive component.
I bought the smoked tail lights & front turn signals for a benz 200 around #3,500 or so.

I like the clear indicator its cool, rugged vehicle. the fuel consumption is not as bad as I was told

I love ur 200 benz...is cool but I bet u, my 230E is more finer dan urs...It was my first car , but I still cherish her, d factory fitted ac is d best, mortury standard and d fuel consumption is ok, although I converted from injector to carbulator....can go a whole month without servicing.....@ OP...I love ur coupe, is neat, hope is nt jerking...dats what made me to convert my injector den

How many times have you seen a merc sleep on the road no matter how rickety the car is? the only reason i will consider a japanes car is because it feels lighter to drive and an ideal choice for city runs.

its not jerking at all am actually really impressed with the performance. the only things I've spent on is just cosmetics and I was told to double the gasket which I'll do soon its abt 10k to do that

Dats nice, but I did doubled my top gasket when I noticed dat it was over heating...and it doesn't cost me up to 3k...as per d pics...I will do dat 2mor morning...came bk late today

I don't think doubling the gasket with workmanship should cost you half that amount + if the engine is not giving any problems please just leave it alone.
Beware of those mechanics' baseless recommendations. They are most times just ways to milk us.

now this is the part I don't like. U r taking what gazzuz said out of context and misinterpreting it. Who said benz is not reliable. Y would he sleep on the road when he travels with it. My family house has benz 230E(flat boot), 300E(vboot) and a c class. They are so reliable that anytime u call on them they answer. It all depends on maintenance culture. U can have a toyota and still sleep on the road when u travel.

The tail lights is not a complete assembly. It's designed such that you can replace only the cover.
The turn signals however is a pair of complete units.
