President Jonathan's Costly Mistakes On Nigeria's Foreign Policies by MrOlai: 10:45am On Jan 07, 2015
Our
President, Jonathan made certain costly mistakes on our foreign
policies. These are:

* Going Against African Union(A.U)'s Consensus on Revolution in Libya
When d revolution started in 2011, d rebels needed d military help of
NATO to overthrow Ghaddafi. AU knew d consequences of that. So, AU had a
consensus of negotiated settlement to resolve d conflict. AU
unanimously went against d NATO military intervention in Libya.
Unfortunately, Nigeria, under d leadership of our president Jonathan
went back to endorse NATO military intervention in Libya making Nigeria d
1st & only country in AU leadership that betrayed fellow African
Nation.

Consequences:
-Ghaddafi was killed & overthrown with d help of NATO powerful
airstrikes.
-The rebels some of whom are boko haram elements looted d Libya's
armoury & had access to sophisticated weapons.
-Boko haram rebels, with d newly acquired weapons, spread to other
sub-Sahara African countries. What goes around comes around. Hence, boko haram in Nigeria.
-Libya has not known peace since NATO military intervention up till now.

Jonathan has not govern Nigeria any foreign policy whatsoever. The Cluelessness people talk about has been most glaring on the foreign scene. Nigeria has lost influence internationally and cannot even import weapons from such countries as US, Israel and many European countries. All weapon imports passing through Saudi Arabia and S. Africa have been blocked. With major identity crisis caused by governmental Cluelessness, the FG found itself voting as a minority African country against a resolution in support of Palestinian statehood recently.

*Nigeria's
Absention on UN Votes to Stop Israeli Occupation on Palestinian Land

This also against Nigeria's age-long foreign policy of standing against
occupation/oppression of all forms.
Nigeria was to vote 'yes' to stop Israeli occupation up till d last
moment. Unfortunately, Israeli Prime Minister, Netanyahu called Jonathan
to either vote 'No' or abstain. At last, Nigeria abstained from voting.

These are against our foreign policies which go in line with AU.
Some people are of d opinion that CAN president, Ayo Oritsejafor &
some other pentecostal pastors are d ones advising Jonathan wrongly.
Jonathan should pls, wise up. He should not allow himself to be pushed
here & there. He is d president of d entire nation & not a
section of Nigera. We hope we'll learn from our mistakes.

I guess this is just part of his failures based on Nigeria's foreign policy, this man has failed Nigeria, Nigerians, Africa and the world but passed his test of selfish interest, cluelessness e.t.c.
#ChangeIsWhatWeNeed #VoteBuhari #VoteOsinbajo for president and vice-president respectively.

The last time Nigeria had anything close to a solid independent foreign policy thrust was during the Abacha years. . Unfortunatetly, the NADECO lot won't allow us to face the facts with their uncommon negative propoganda against that man. He got the chinese trade minister here begging after placing some bans on imports fom china following that countrys dodgy policy against Nigeria. Today we are a dumping ground. He cut Biya down to size at bakassi and checkmated his every move with the french. He got all our neighbouring governments to be either pro Nigeria or quiet on isseus involving Nigeria. Taylor was at his vibrant best then, he got him to come begging after some firefights.. Handled sierraloen and guinea. Even Rawlings behaved! He was biulding a west African coalition against imperialism before they took him out. And I believe part of the reason he was maimed has a lot to do with his unalloyed support for the palestinians.. Arafat was the last dignatory he met before he was killed, and with Mustaphas recent outburst on this, it is not out of place to suspect that a MOSSAD mole within Arafats security team did the hatchet job. It is also very interesting how the western media have congregated to beam heave negative light on his stewardship while cuddling CIA agents like Obasanjo and iBB whose utterly pro western foreign policy thrusts have caused Nigerias global reputation untold ruination.
