Questions centered on the well being of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) continue to linger as the septuagenarian failed to make two campaign stops due to fatigue, according to sources. The General was noticeably absent at the Osun Walk for Change on Wednesday and instead was represented by his younger, more vibrant deputy, Pastor Yomi Osinbajo. According to a source with knowledge of the campaign schedules, the campaign stops are being shared between Buhari and Osinbajo so as to prevent the general from over exerting himself due to his fragile state. Adding to the concerns, sources who monitored the APC rally in Calabar say that the General tripped and fell flat as he mounted the stage to address the crowd. “I’m sure you noticed Buhari was absent in Edo today and sent Osinbajo to represent him. This is due to his state of health and the stress of the campaign. But why are you guys such liars. Every sensible person knows during campaign period especially close to election day, candidates split up to cover more ground. Whats the point of all them being in one place when one can be in Bayelsa and the other in Edo? This happens all over the world, Obama would be campaigning in North Carolina while Joe Biden will be in Pennsylvania, same thing with McCain, he let Palin go to other cities to cover more ground.
