This is not the best of times for Ekiti workers as
they face the test of choice over a presidential
election marching order to attend President
Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign rally tomorrow in
Ado-Ekiti, failure of which they should be prepared
to forfeit their January salary.

And so as Nigerians grapple with the tragedy of
leadership over the years and the opportunity
presented by the February 14 election to support
the leader who they believe is best suited to lead
them out of the woods, Ekiti workers may not have
the luxury of that constitutional liberty to support
a leader well placed to lead them to the Promised
Land.

The Monitors gathered that the maximum ruler in
Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, has sent out a circular
ordering all state public school teachers, civil
servants and their local government counterparts
to attend the presidential campaign of PDP’s
candidate, President Goodluck Jonathan,
tomorrow. Attendance is compulsory and those
who absent themselves do so at their own risk. A
register is being opened at the entrance of the
venue for workers to record their presence. Those
who fail to turn up should be prepared to forfeit
their January salary. It is now so bad that civil
servants are compelled to attend political rallies
such as the Jonathan Presidential campaign rally!

A thug bullying the people of a state with highest number of PhD holders and erudite professors.

On the flip side he is probably going to hand down a death threat to whoever attends APC rally.

Its difficult to confirm if this really happened, however, considering his antecedence, its difficult to put this past him, he is more than capable of doing this and even worse. Some who could supervise the slapping of a judge? who does that?

Jonathan did 16>19, Fayose's own is 7>23.

I said it that Ekiti people has not seen anything, this is the era of a task master for them. Ekiti welcome to slavery until Fayose is removed. When a people say they don't want a builder and an administrator but prefers a looter, a hooligan and a tyrant for stomach infrastructure, this is what they get.

What's the Jesus of Otuoke going to say about this?

Isn't Mr. Democracy going to backlash such "dictatorship"?

Mr. Fresh "igbe" ought to call his mosquitoes to order before they start laying corrupt and dictatorship eggs in Ekiti.

Anyway, Fayose, your own is finished.

This ''stomach infrastructure''

man ain't smiling. He needs a

uniform and dark glasses to

make him look like one of our

past military presido.

Ekiti people need a pen and

hard cover notes book to

document all of these for their

children . The topic of

this documentary should be

''How we traded the future of

Ekiti state for stomach

infrastructure, cost and

consequences''

If indeed this piece of news is true, then the people GEJ surround himself with are doing him more harm than good, is fayose going to threaten them with their salaries to vote for GEJ too Does attending rally guarantee that they will vote for GEJ

This has just opened a flood gate of points GMB will use in campaigning against PDP/GEJ...I wonder where this guys get their advice from...SMH

This is a show of cluelessness again on the path of pdp leaders. After compelling them to attend rallies or campaigns, will they be compelled to vote pdp too? This is a wake up call for GMB.

Buhari is not a messiah. Buharists who give him wings and a halo are doing him disservice. Buhari for me is a reset button. He is a stop-gap. He is some guy who can say "No", steer the ship aright and not squander his goodwill. He knows this is his last shot at it.

No matter what you say about Jonathan..he is a 512 RAM guy with a 10 Gigabyte job. He does not have the required capacity and has not developed the capabilities required. He was never prepared ..despite his automatic promotion through the ranks of mediocrity and after six years...He is still a learner. Nigeria is reducing geographically and economically under his watch. BH controls more local governments than Ekiti State. Our markets have lost almost a Trillion naira in 2015....seven days. He cannot give what he does not have. He is not a man who thrives in complexity. ...A simple good man who should enjoy his spoils in retirement. Buhari will not perform magic ..but. ..Jonathan will ruin this nation.
