Holy crap. That's a hard one especially if kids are involved. If there were no kids, I'd have no choice but to divorce.

Something similar happened in the Ukraine a few yrs ago. This couple had dated for yrs without realising that they were siblings. They had been separated at birth. Eventually they found out and separated for a while. But they decided they loved each other too much and got back together after about a yr.

Their main concern was for their kids - children of siblings tend to have serious disabilities - but they have 6 kids now and all are healthy.

Its always diffcult when they have kids,there is gonna be a disability mentally or otherwise,

This is a serious abomination in Yorubaland. Even if there are kids, it is not proper to have a spouse that is your relation especially by blood. I'm confused Abike, ur answer gives light to the question. The children might need a father for their moral and psychological upbringing. I think it's better to stay. BUT THE HUMILIATION, GOSH!!!!

Seriously, i think if the couple in question love each other, they can continue with d relationship. I agree wit u nt 4 d masses, (if therte r kids involved) it isnt gud 4 d parents to be separated. On the other hand. if dey feel dey can continue wit d relationship, ok

SUCH occasions are very bad. The tv prgramme that plays in my country right now is all about this, and seriously, it's really bad when it comes to such situtations especially when two have already fallen inlove.

people need to take marriage seriously, really get to know themselves, i 've heard of stuffs like this happening but methinks one needs to really know an intended spouse, family history, meet relatives etc, then the likelihood of such happen wil be almost non-existent

How did they get to find out that they were siblings afterall? are all their parents dead? if so how did they finally findout?
Then again if they have been married for so long why did the info come wen it did. all these questions should be answered b4 they make any decision.
Also children gotten from this union are never retarded people should get their facts straight b4 they start spread baseless findings.
my advice is to continue it's already too late to do otherwise.
