Senator Rasidi Ladoja the gubernatorial
candidate of Accord and his deputy Dr. Prince
Bola Oyedepo today received the party flag
from the National secretary of Accord Alhaji
Nureni Adisa who represented the chairman of
Accord, Alhaji Nanado, at the event that kick
started Accord campaigns in Oyo state .
The colorful ceremony held at the Durbar
stadium Oyo, signaled the flag off of the 2015
polls for Accord, Also present were other
candidates from all over the state receiving
the party flag from the state chairman Arc.
Bashiru Lawal.
Earlier the Director General of Senator Ladoja
campaign Organization had told the people
that today's event is an epoch making one
which marks the beginning of the end for the
APC led government in oyo state. Stressing
that the people had endure too much hardship
from a government that has been riddled with
inefficiency and wastefulness hallmark of the
present government in Oyo state.
He also said that the allegation by the state
government that an ex governor in the state
refunded a particular sum of money to the
state coffers is baseless as they have failed to
mention the name of the former governor who
did.
He stated further that. For the avoidance of
doubt Senator Rasidi Ladoja has not refunded
any money to the state coffers as he is not in
possession of the state fund or indebted to the
state in anyway.
Oyo Students' from various institutions across
oyo state and other states declear their
support for Sen Ladoja whom they believe that
He will pilot the Education sector of the state
better than he did in 2003-2007.
Senator Ladoja in a brief speech thanked
members of Accord for the opportunity given
him to serve the state again. Saying that he
has done it before and the people are living
testimonies of his achievements. He
explained that while he was the governor in
2003-2007, civil servants were getting paid
on the 25th of every month, and a week before
any major festivities. He noted that workers in
the state could not have had a merry
christmas as most were not paid their
november/ december salaries.
He remarked that he constructed roads at a
cost of 10million naira per kilometer, and
Akala did for a 100million naira per kilometer,
the Ajimobi's government he said is spending
1 billion naira per kilometer. He affirm that
Accord will put an end to this
mismanagement of our common resources.
On the issue of age Senator Ladoja wonders
why the ruling All Progressive Congress in
oyo state are saying that at 70years he is too
old to govern a single state , while in the
same breath they are campaigning for a man
of over 73 years old to become the next
President of the country.
Senator Ladoja had earlier been given a
rousing welcome to the ancient city of Oyo,
when thousands of Accord members and
residents of Oyo, waited at Iloora, a town
which is a few kilometers way from Oyo —

In Oyo STate After APC Accord is the next most popular party

You would also notice that most governorship candidates are careful not to mention Jonathans name in any of their campaign because they dont want to incur the wrath of the people

Anyway oyo town belongs to APC, ANything Alaafin says gets done. The Kings son is the House of Rep candidate for APC

Sorry Bisi Ilaka, Sorry Gbadegesin, Sorry Muideen Alatede but Oyo is for APC

Though this is the first round, the opinion poll has shown the popularity of senator ladoja. The poll also show its going to be a close race as the difference between ladoja, ajimobi and akala is slim

lets wait for the second round before we can reach a conclusion. The second round comes up after the governorship debate.
