all4naija:You can see the problem with people like you. A genius came out and talked of developing a vaccine that can cure and people like you pulled him down. Today, researches are going on to develop curative vaccines for illnesses that seemed in curable. Do you think a government or body will throw $5 million if they do not believe in the work? Can a vaccine cure? Yes it can. The term of using a vaccine for treatment is now an accepted term in medicine. |

According to a report in Nigeria's Post Express newspaper ("Nigeria: Why We Stopped Use of the Vaccines-Atiku", Post Express (Lagos) July 25, 2000, by Obiorah Ifo), the country's vice president, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, said the government has stepped in to stop Abalaka from administering the vaccine "because it has killed more people than it has cured" http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/12349804 That means, Government officials of Nigeria knew the work of Dr Abalaka was potent. Why ban it, instead of funding the research? Baffling. Alhaji Atiku states IT HAS CURED. Disappointing. |

thegoodjoehunt3: I give up. But let me ask you. Do you think this judicial mockery of a ruling will now give Dr Abalaka the license to sell non-scientifically tested medical formulation, or do you think it will now allow him to take his time to conduct extensive clinical trials of his formulation? Like said before, am sure he still has patient list from the 16 yrs. He could start from them by re evsluating their HIV and health status. |

This sham court victory will even expose his shinanigans the more should he fail to now conduct a sincere open clinical trials to prove his genius. |

plaetton:Former Vice President of Nigeria said some people have been cured. That was all that was important. Unlike now we have break through in curative vaccine researches, in 1999, it was ground breaking. Our government should support him to carry out a sound medical research. Fund him. Militants are walking a way with much money spent on armnesty. We can support a brilliant researcher. |

thegoodjoehunt3: He/she is talking about CLINICAL trials. This takes several years and several subjects/people who have agreed to be used for trials. To determine effects of the drugs if it truly works, possible side effects etc. Really extensive and expensive process but worth it for the sake of posterity. 1 Like |

eyinjuege:Read back, he said a vaccine cannot cure. He was wrong there. As for trials, Dr Abalaka needed support for trials. He believed his discovery, the government officials betrayed him and his country by not helping him. |

melodyirish: Thank you dear. Just when we are saying that Nigerians have what it takes transform this nation, some will come here to make alot of noise about what they don't understand how. GEJ is trying hard to encourage locals/citizens do things, & things to get done in country so we can industrialize faster, preparing the way for economic boom. Some who want continued enslavement to other countries will be making noise with the media just to divert attention from the truth & tell all sorts of lies, make mountains out of a mole, all just to paint GEJ black. It shall be well with Nigeria. |
