The noose of disgrace is tightening around Buhari's gaunt looking neck gradually but steadily. Nigerians : Buhari, where is your certificate? Buhari : My certificate is with the secretary to the military board. Nigerians : Good, then proceed to the secretary and get it for us to see. Buhari : Em! em! Em! My original certificate was stolen when the soldiers who overthrew me ransacked my house. Nigerians : This kind story get "k" leg oo Buhari : which kind wahala be this.i for kuku stay for my house in Daura and not kwontest this election. See the embarassment i'm facing.PDP has finished me.Tomorow is my last chance to convince Nigerians i have a certificate. "Lie" Mohammed says this my ojoro speech may work tomorrow. 1 Like |

donphilopus: "Educated to at least School certificate or its equivalent". Some people don't read and understand. There is also the UN- emancipated mentality of carrying paper qualification culture into political leadership. The constitution does not need or want to sight any certificates. Most privileged children don't even use WASC to get admitted to foreign schools anyway. Thanks to Wikes NECO/WAEC mass failure of recent years. |

abes:Why are you wasting your time on that nodcock?.The PDP campaign organisation know they have no case, not even a straw to hold onto. That's why none of them has gone to court, not even a customary court. They would rather muddy the waters by raising non-issues since they have no good record to run on. |

It very clear like daylight that Buhari does not have his WASC. He NEVER sat the exam. In the document passed around to journalists for sighting, the letter reads in part; “I recommend him fit for military commissioning, I consider that he will pass the WASC examination in English, Math and three other subjects.” http://www.channelstv.com/2015/01/20/army-deny-possession-of-buharis-wasc-certificate/ We need evidence that he has WAEC or equivalent. If not he will be disqualified and face charges for perjury. |

abes:Get your fact right before you post falsity here. The supreme court gave a verdict that inec does not have the power to disqualify a candidate wishing to contest election. It is the court that has the power to disqualify a candidate or the party under the which the candidate is contesting if it so wishes. Did you not read in the papers yesterday where some political parties fielded underaged candidates who will comtest elections. It was clear they have circumvented the constitution, yet inec went ahead to register them.Is it inec fault that those candidates were registered to contest in the face of glaring irregularities? The answer is no. This is same situation that Buhari is confronting. 1 Like |

tomakint: What titles for goodness sake?. The guy attended professional military training and advanced military officers training to discharge duties to Nigeria which he did sterlingly as GOD, beating Chadian and Cameroonian invasions, solving Maitatsine riots before it became an insurgency. Please what titles?. Is education for service delivery in your profession or to feel a cupboard with meaningless papers? What kind of office clerk mentality are you people bringing into governance. |

Re: Is Buhari Bigger Than Nigeria's Constitution? by idumuose(m): 12:47am On Jan 21, 2015 |
tomakint:At first, "it was with the military board". Then, "it was destroyed when soldiers invaded my house". Again, "it was 'siezed' by IBB during the coup". Or you can "ask the US War College". Finally, "he doesn't need certificate to contest for President". What next? Only the truth shall set Buhari free. But I hope he has the mind to say that truth. |

I can assure you that for each false provision you name, I'll show you 5-9 impeachable offenses which violate several constitiutioal provisions, perpetrated by GEJ and his cohorts. |

Buhari should actually be stripped of his army pension for joining the army with a recommendation letter in lieu of WASC. Is this the messiah that will fight kworruption? Someone who joined the army with no qualification. |

barcanista:barcanista, are you wiser than olisa agbakoba (SAN) who said the inec form of 2007 and 2011 are different from 2015 inec registration form which stipulates that you must provide the original certificate of your credentials, in which case your original wasc or it's equivalent must be provided. Buhari initially said his certificates are with the secretary to the military board. He later made a detour and i believe "Lie" mohammed must have made a suggestion to him to say his certificates were stolen when soldiers who overthrew his government ransacked and stole his certificate. Even my dog scott can smell lies here. 1 Like

No, Buhari is not bigger than Nigeria constitution . A Buhari without certificates would be disqualified and prosecute accordingly. Quota System wouldn't work or save Buhari on this. . |

Press Statement by General Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, on the School Certificate Issue Good Morning , Gentlemen of the Press. I only consented to address you this morning because of the genuine concern expressed by many supporters and other well-meaning Nigerians that the issue be addressed. Otherwise, I would have dismissed it for what it is—sheer mischief and would not have considered it an issue worth the nation’s while. I had assumed all along that all my records were in the custody of the Military Secretary of the Nigerian Army. Much to my surprise, we are now told that although a record of the result is available, there are no copies of the certificates in my personal file. This is why I formally requested my old school the Provincial Secondary School, Katsina [which is now known as Government College, Katsina] to make available the school’s copy of the result of the Cambridge/West African School Certificate. This will be made available to the press the moment this is available. However, before we obtain that, let me say for the record that I attended Provincial Secondary School, Katsina. I graduated in 1961 with many prominent Nigerians, including General Shehu Yar’adua, former chief of staff at the Supreme Headquarters, and Justice Umaru Abdullahi, a former President of the Court of Appeal. We sat for the University of Cambridge/WASC Examination together in 1961, the year we graduated. My examination number was 8280002, and I passed the examination in the Second Division. And although the ruling party may want to wish this away, the issue in this campaign cannot be my certificate which I obtained 53 years ago. The issues are the scandalous level of unemployment of millions of our young people, the state of insecurity, the pervasive official corruption which has impoverished our people and the lack of concern of the government for anything other than the retention of power at all costs. Thank you very much. General Muhammadu Buhari |
